Will I need to carry a Kmart Smart Rewards card or tell the Sales Associate I am a member?
To get the most out of the Kmart Smart Rewards program, present your Kmart Smart Rewards card to the Sales Associate each time you shop a participating store, or enter your member number (found on the back of your Kmart Smart Rewards card) in your profile, or at check-out when you shop at kmart.com. If you've forgotten your Kmart Smart Rewards card, the Sales Associate can usually look up your number for you using your phone number if you provided it during enrollment or updated it on the My Information page on this website.
Can I use my Kmart Smart Rewards card at any Kmart store?
You can use your card to earn Kmart Smart Rewards and receive program benefits only at participating stores. At this time, participating stores are located in the following cities and surrounding areas: Atlanta, GA; Buffalo, NY; Grand Rapids, MI; Bakersfield, CA; and Louisville, KY.
Can I use my Kmart Smart Rewards card at Sears?
Although Sears and Kmart are part of the same company, your Kmart Smart Rewards card is only accepted at participating Kmart stores and on kmart.com.
Do all my purchases count toward my rewards?
Most items count toward rewards. The following purchases are excluded: prescriptions, lottery tickets, eatery, licenses, concessions, tobacco, alcohol, firearms, gift cards, postage, utility payments, gasoline, Western Union, prior layaway purchases, Olan Mills, charges for installation, delivery, extended warranties, protection agreements, and Kmart auctions on eBay .

How can I check to see if I have any offers or rewards?
To check your offers and rewards you can visit the Offers page of this website, or you can call (800) 991-8708. This website address and the customer service phone number are on the back of your Kmart Smart Rewards card for your convenience.
Can I use my Kmart Smart Rewards card when I shop at kmart.com?
Yes, you can participate in the Kmart Smart Rewards program when you shop at kmart.com; just be sure to enter your member number in your kmart.com profile or at check-out.
Kmart Smart Rewards Program Benefits
How does the earning toward Reward Certificates work?
Each time that you make a qualifying purchase at a participating Kmart store, you will earn at least 1% in rewards. Cosmetics, skin and sun care will earn 10% and certain purchases will earn even more. One week after the end of each calendar quarter, Reward Certificates will be automatically printed at the register when you use your Kmart Smart Rewards card while making a purchase at a participating store, if you have earned at least $3.00 in rewards. When you haven't accumulated enough rewards to receive at least a $3.00 Reward Certificate, your rewards will roll into the next quarter. See Terms and Conditions for complete details.
How will I receive Reward Certificates?
Reward Certificates will be printed automatically the first time you scan your Kmart Smart Rewards card and make a purchase at a participating store approximately one week after the end of each calendar quarter. The Certificate prints so that you can save it for your next visit to Kmart. Reward Certificates will be issued as long as you've earned at least $3.00 in rewards.
How can I check my Kmart Smart Rewards account to see how close I am to a reward?
Once you've created an online account and logged in to this site, you can view your account information and see your statement within the Rewards Activity section. Or you can call (800) 991-8708.
My statement is showing that I've accrued a certain amount of rewards, but I know I've spent more than that. What happened?
It can take up to 48 hours for your rewards to show online and one week after the end of the quarter to print your Reward Certificate out at the register. Your rewards are being tabulated as long as you are using your Kmart Smart Rewards card each time you shop at a participating store. If you have receipts that are not reflected in your Reward Activity pages on the member site, call customer service at (800) 991-8708.
My statement is showing that I've earned a Reward Certificate for this quarter. How do I get my Reward Certificate?
Approximately one week after the end of each calendar quarter, a Reward Certificate will be printed automatically the first time you scan your Kmart Smart Rewards card and make a purchase at a participating store. It will be available to use for your next purchase so keep it in a safe place. Reward Certificates will be issued as long as you've earned at least $3.00 in rewards.
When I get a Reward Certificate, how long is it good for?
Reward Certificates expire 60 days from the date they are printed for you at the store. You will see the expiration date on the Certificate, so be sure to use it by that date.

How do I get my special offers?

How long are my special offers good for?

Unfortunately, if an offer or Reward Certificate is lost, we cannot replace it.

The Kmart Smart Rewards program is designed to provide special offers to members based on their shopping history and preferences. No purchase is necessary to play or to win.
Do I have to make a purchase to participate in Kmart K'Ching Surprises?
No purchase is necessary. Mail-in entries will also be accepted. You can hand print your name, address, day and evening phone numbers, email address, Kmart Smart Rewards card number, and age on a 3" x 5" piece of paper and mail it with proper postage to "Kmart Scan & Win," c/o ePrize, LLC, P.O. Box 3756, Grand Rapids, MI 49501-3756. You will receive one (1) entry into the mail-in entry prize pool for the Entry Period corresponding with the date your entry is postmarked. Limit: One (1) entry per stamped envelope, per day. All mail-in entries must be handwritten. All mail-in entries must be postmarked by July 6, 2009 and received by July 13, 2009.

There are two ways to enroll. You can click Join Now and fill out the membership form. Be sure to include your phone number so that you can give this to the sales associates at participating Kmart stores for your member number lookup so that you can earn rewards while you wait the 2-4 weeks for your Kmart Smart Rewards card to arrive. You can also enroll by asking a sales associate at a participating Kmart store for a Kmart Smart Rewards enrollment brochure. It takes just a few minutes to sign up and you can start earning right away. What information do I have to provide to sign up?
Your name, address, and date of birth are required. To get the most out of Kmart Smart Rewards, you should also provide your email address to receive special offers and program information and your phone number for lookup to earn rewards if you forget your member card.
Can I add family members to my Kmart Smart Rewards account?
Cards cannot be shared and earning of benefits cannot be combined, but Kmart Smart Rewards is open to anyone over age 18. To ensure that your friends and family members will be eligible to receive great offers from Kmart, encourage them to visit a participating Kmart Store to sign up. Each unique Kmart Smart Rewards number will earn its own rewards.

I have a Reward Certificate or special offer that is expired or will expire soon but I want to use it on a purchase. Can you extend it or re-issue it?
Once an offer is expired it cannot be extended. Although you may not be able to use this offer, be sure to check your offers once you have logged in to this website, and to check your receipt on your next purchase for more great offers from Kmart.
My child tried to use a coupon that I got for a free product, but the store would not take it.
Kmart Smart Rewards is open to those over the age of 18 and certain offers are only open to program participants and members and are not transferable, so be sure that only you present your card and offers.
If I forget my Kmart Smart Rewards card when I shop at Kmart, can a Sales Associate look up my member number?
Yes. If you provided your phone number when you signed up, your Sales Associate can look up your Kmart Smart Rewards member number using the phone number you registered with when shopping at participating Kmart stores.
