Went today to use my $10 lawn garden pts because they expired and wanted to do a 25 order so was getting

First problem was I asked if I had the pts yes so I told her I wanted to use them but I had coupons to scan first. Well she used my pts and we had to void because coupons would not scan. Then she scanned everything and popchips would not scan, and my 1/1 coupons would not double. She called the hateful manager I loathe and he said it only doubles on health and beauty and I told the girl it also included grocery and showed her the ad and I was told by store manager that grocery included dog food and cleaning. Well she would not call him back and I knew even if he came it would do me no good so just bought the garden stuff and snapware and towels.

I would love to complain on this store! Usually only one register takes debit and ALWAYS something rings up wrong price or my coupons don't double even with me trying to make sure. Last week after checking my receipts I did not get 4 coupons doubled and my free bodywash coupon was not deducted even though I watched her scan it and write in total. The screens at my store are hard to read for all the dirt plus I think I need reading glasses LOL so I ask after every coupon and the girl assured me they doubled. GRRR! Sometimes I wonder if it is worth the hassle! It took me 40 min to check out today and last week was horrendous 35 min each transaction.

Your total falls below the $25 mark when you take out the gardening stuff and the snap ware. You did not have enough qualifying items to have your coupons doubled. Sorry and hope it works better for you next time.

Unless I'm missing something the only grocery I see on your list is the soft scrub so perhaps your coupons didn't double because you didn't hit the $25? Another poster didn't get the picnic voucher over the weekend and we compared notes. Suspect the Snapware is not grocery.

wow. I am so sorry you had such problems at the store.

What I would do, Is call the main manager tomorrow. Maybe the store manager tomorrow and have a chat with him or her about what happen. See if they try to make it right first.

I just know when you call customer service they always ask if you spoke with the store manager and if you did already, they take more action on your problems. They like most of the time that it gets worked out at the store level.

I see what they are both talking about. I was more or less looking at the problem with the employee not your transation. Your total for the coupons to double had to be 25.00 or more of merchandise in health and beaurty or grocery department. Your transcation had the 10.00 of stuff for garden but the rest would have fallen under the 25.00 mark and the coupons would not double.

Wow, I'm so sorry you had problems! My K-marts are hit or miss. I have some good transactions . And I have horrible ones, like the ones where nothing goes right and after voiding the transaction to start over, it still doesn't go right and I walk out the store empty-handed.

It's been said before and I've noticed it too, K-mart takes a lot of patience.

Well drat I thought the snapware was like the gladware which is grocery DUH! and the garden spray was in the grocery section raid something ?So thats why it didn't work! I feel so dumb!!

Don't feel so bad. We've all done that. Gosh, I still do stuff like that! We live and learn and try not to do again.
