I went in today - purchased 3 Scott tp and 1 paper towel all on sale for $5.49 totaling $21.96 plus other misc health items bringing total to over $25. I used 4 $1/1 Qs on Scott products and one other Q for the add ons - all doubled. Paid with a customer service issued $5 "rewards card" because I didn't get a crt on something I purchased last week - the rest on a debit. Oh - and I got the free reeses too. Long story short - no crt on the Scott, but I did get a Catalina for $2 off next shopping visit - assuming for the Scott but it didn't specify. Luckily CS is happy to give out gift/rewards/merchandise credit cards when something doesn't work right - but that can't go on forever and I want to know if I am doing something wrong. I purchased enough Scott to cover my Qs - keeping me over $15 - but not their doubles - was that the problem? Or was it the reward card? Any thoughts?

Believe someone posted here that there were some bonus packs of Scott that weren't coded for the promotion and that if you bought more than 1 type of Scott product a MFG catalina would also print. Don't believe you did anything wrong and I am glad CS took care of you.

You know I think you may be right (not that I ever doubted it ) On my receipt the 12 roll Scott Extra Soft is listed as "bath tissue", while the Scott 1000 and the Scott paper towels came up as "Scott Bath" and "Scott Towel". So it was probably them and not me!

Unfortunately the only Qs I have left are for the extra soft - but I'll give it a go anyway - too good a deal to pass up. I should just be able to buy 3 right - I don't have to account for the coupons in meeting the $15 total - right?

It should print at $15 before coupons. There's only one other trip report so far this week and poster purchased paper towels only, so now I'm a bit baffled. Perhaps it was a combination of the the paper towels and a bonus pack of TP? Anyone else done the deal? Hope we can figure this out before the promotion ends.

I bought 3-packs of the 8 roll TP and the 5.00CRT printed. My friend bought 3-6 pack of PT and used 3 coupons and the CRT printed for her too, HTH.

I wish Kmart's ad would specify participating items. I'm looking at an ad for the promotion from last Sunday's SS insert. Shows pics of Scott Extra Soft, Scott 1000, Scott PT 6=9 count Choose a Size anad Scott Naturals Wipes (Big Pack). I didn't read the fine print on this before today.

Has the usual discount language (we know better), rolls as it's good 10/21-11/3 and lists participating items:
Scott Towels Megaroll 6ct.
Scott Extra Soft Tissue Double Roll or Big Roll 12 ct.
Scott 1000 Tissue 8 Ct.
Scott Naturals Flushable Moist Wipes Refill 170 ct.

So it looks like the 8 roll is coded and the 6 pack of paper towels are coded. Now we're down to the Extra Soft.

OP in this thread was your Extra Soft a Bonus pack with some extra rolls? Or are we looking at the possibility of the Extra Soft not being coded at all.

I got 2 of the 8 count and 1 paper towel and got the $2 off your next order but when i got 3 of the 8 count in an order and 3 of the paper towel in an order, I got the $5 ones......hhmmmm..

So it looks like you have to buy three the same? That makes no sense!

You shouldn't, but that's almost how this one is looking if you want to get the CRT without stopping at CS. The last time there was a Scott's promotion I don't believe it worked without incident either. If you want Scott and want to combine products, I highly suggest you take the SS ad with you. They may say it's not their ad (I was told that once before), until I explained I thought that explanation was a bit od since it carries their logo, has their language and that I fount it doubtful that the MFG has the authority to advertise what Kmart will and won't do without Kmart's participation and agreement. CS agreed and honored.

Still believe the issue is the corporate download of UPC codes. Not sure if that download can be incorrect in its entirety, by region or by store.
