What is a good price for turkey?
the last time I bought a turkey was 6 years ago. before i started couponing. I was just wandering what is a good price per pound price this year?
I found winetags in Kroger for $1 off any butterball fresh or frozen whole turkey. Minumum butterball purchase of $10.00 TIA Last edited by Madnicmom; 11-11-2009 at 02:23 PM.

How Funny i just posted a Thread about A good Price for your Turkey or Ham...
 I buy one Every year and have never really paid attention to if I am getting a Good Deal or not..But umm this year I am. I for the Last 3yrs have brought my Turkey from Save Alot for about 9 or 10 bucks. I was thinking that was a good deal so now I am aimimg to beat it....

Last year Krogers had them for I think .19lb and I had some winetags for $2 off turkey.
I bought 4 turkeys ranging fro 11 to 20 lbs. Paid between .09 and $1.80. I think don't hold me to it cause now that I type it I am thinking maybe it was .29...hmmm anyone else remember.

Wal-Mart had turkeys for $0.40/lb. That is a pretty good price. I live in MO, but my mom in FL said they had them there also.

They just went on sale for .40/ per lb.... IMO, that's a good price!!! Also, a few years ago I Emailed butterball a compliment and they sent me a $10 off Q! They will get a bit cheaper, but then you run the risk of not being able to get one big enough, that happend to me one year and I had to cook two turkies!

I bought my turkey at Giant Eagle yesterday for 40 cents a pound. I figured they'd go cheaper but by then they are all teeny tiny and I need a BIG bird! Grabbed 22lbs and can't wait to eat that little booger! Nom nom nom!

Our Kroger has Jennie O Turkeys for .27 a lb with $20 purchase.
