went to a holiday bazaar with a friend and spent $5 on something I was actually looking for. Other than that I didn't spend any more money. Ordered son-in-law a Steelers wallet for Christmas. Amazon screwed up an order about 5 months ago and gave us a $20 credit so I only paid $5.80 shipped. He will be excited about that

Cancel that order. You did that all wrong. You were suppose to order him a Green Bay Packers wallet. GO PACK GO

Pay down $2,020 of the state tax bill (1648/2020)

I sold an item on Ebay for $6.. I applied it to the state taxes. The amount above reflects the addition of the $6.

I need to do some listing on eBay. I used to do a lot of selling on eBay, but haven't listed anything since before I moved 2 1/2 years ago, and it could even be three years since I sold on eBay.

Just a warning. Ebay has really slowed down. It took me double the time it usually does to sell items I have in the past.

This may be the reason:

"According to the latest Quarterly Report on Household Debt and Credit released today by the New York Fedís Center for Microeconomic Data, total household debt increased by $116 billion to reach $12.96 trillion in the third quarter of 2017.

This headline figure camouflages problems emerging at the bottom of the market. Indeed, according to the report, the outstanding subprime auto debt now stands at about $300 billion. This amount has increased steadily in absolute terms but remained constant at 24% of the total outstanding auto loan balance since about 2011.

There are over 23 million consumers who hold subprime auto loans. Around 10% of borrowers with scores of 620 or less are 90+ days delinquent, around the same level as reported in 2008/2009.

However, Moody's does warn that this could be just the start of a much more significant trend, one which would almost certainly be a drag on the whole financial sector.

"Given the small portion of overall consumer lending these loans present, they do not pose a material risk. However, subprime borrowers are often the first to suffer economic stresses, so this debt's performance could be a bellwether for the broader market."
