All right, I posted a similar question earlier this week re Wags and the consensus was that you can use 2 coupons on BOGO items.
As I understand it, using 2 coupons actually HELPS the store b/c they get money back on the item that they would otherwise get nothing for.
Well, I got shot down today doing a similar scenario at Meijer. The Ban deodorant is BOGO and there are $1/1 coupons out there. So, buy one at $2.77, get the other free, use 2 qs and take $2 off, right? I bought six, but the cashier would only let me use 3 coupons b/c she said the computer showed the other 3 as 0.00. So, is this a YMMV issue or should I contact corporate, or just return them? I bought them to donate to the shelter, but not at the higher price. TIA!

My experience at Meijer has been that because the second rings up as $00.00, I have not been able to use a coupon on it. It's just the way the registers are programmed.

Sarylynn, we live in an area that doesn't allow this. BUMMER!!! But maybe some of our IN, MI, KY and IL friends will chime in here.

oh yeah, WAGS, the High St location is the only one i've found that allows 2 coupons on a BOGO sale, at least that cashier did. I tried Trenton, main st, Middletown locations also.

I can't do this at Meijer but can at CVS. Never tried Wags.
