Default Free eggs!!!

Was pretty thrilled with my trip to meijer!

6 12pack mtn dew - $2.48 ea
16 Betty Crocker Cookie mixes 1.87..... 57 ea after .40/1 and meijer 1/2
6 bx betty crocker potatoes 1.00 .....30 eaafter .35/1
6 parkey .99 .49 after .75/2
4 brooks beans .99.....49 after 55/2
Crisco oil 2.49....1.49 1/1 Q
AND.....

7 eggs.....that had .75/1 peelie if bought betty crocker and I got the 7 free eggs catalina that spit out after transactions!

SOOOO, that leads to my next question....alot of the eggs I will use for Thanksgiving for deviled eggs, but can I freeze eggs and if so what do I need to do?

This was a tip Mr. Coupon told us today at the coupon seminar...He freezes eggs...scrambles them and freezes them... Just thought I would share his training! I would ck on the internet for suggestions too on freezing them....Eggbeater can be frozen so why not scrambled eggs?
I might scramble each one seperately and freeze so I could defrost them for all that Christmas baking as needed.

HTH

Wonderful shopping trip!!! I will have to duplicate!! But you missed the I can't believe its not butter sticks.....1.69 - 1.00 MC = .69 then a $2.00 OYNO pops out....this deal is going on til Nov. 28.....

Cookie Dough, eggs and butter.....sounds like alot of Christmas Cookie Trays for gifts for me!!!

I mix them up and freeze allow room for expansion. a 100 cal bag will hold 3 eggs which is a good number for most receipes. thaw in fridge for 24 hours min not nuking to thaw

Oh I wonder if you could use ice cube trays or maybe one of the small jello molds and freeze them one egg at a time. That way you could just bag them all together and pull out one as needed.

I only learned that you could freeze eggs last winter when I left a dozen in the trunk of my car overnight! LOL

Don't freeze in the shell because they crack. You can still thaw in the fridge, but it makes taking them out a pain in the butt.

Love the idea of using the tray to do one egg at a time. Do one of the silicone trays so they pop out easily. Might stick to plastic.
