Cvs improvising at checkout! 3/4
went into CVS yesterday with $16.79 in ECB and a 20% off... had somewhat of a plan, but got thrown a few curveballs at checkout.

TR#1

(4) Revlon eyeshadows $4.99
less (4) $1/1 MQ
less $12.79 ECB
less 20% = $2.20 **originally it took off $4, but because i handed my ECBs over first and then my MQs (hoping to eat into tax), the 20% off recalculated... boo.

TAX=$0.86
OOP=$1.83
received $16 ECB
$1.38 MM


TR#2

(1) Venus $9.99
(1) Olay cleanser $3.99
(1) Olay bodywash $6.99
less $2/1, BOGO Olay (took off $8.99! )
less $4 ECB **would have used more, but i forgot that the Revlon ECBs would lump into one big ol' $16 ECB

TAX=$1.15
OOP=$7.13
received $7 ECB
NET COST $4.13


SUMMARY
$2.75 NET COST for $47.23 in product! 94% SAVINGS

Awesome! I was thinking about doing the Olay, but I already have so much bodywash & facial cleanser. I can't turn away free Olay body wash! Its my favorite! What's a girl to do..lol

The same thing happened to me with the revlon. Now I have a 12 ECB. I am thinking of doing the cash card so I can use the entire thing on that. Great Trip.

I did the same thing with the Revlon...forgot they lumped it into 1 big ECB, ended up with a $12 ECB. Luckily I had another scenario, just had to add something to it! Good job on improvising at the checkout!
