Wow - No Kleenix?

There was not one box of $.99 Kleenex on the shelf so no Kleenex for us here. Oh well!
Yup I used a few $1/1 cereal coupons and a few coupons for fruit when you buy Kellogg's cereal so the little over 2 pounds of medium sized Navel oranges were freebies. I also used one $1.00 coupon for milk when you buy any Kellogg's creal so I got the small $1.00 milk.
I was too lazy to post all the great coupons I used.
I did screw up with the Schick deal by getting the last 3 razors and 3 refills when they are BOGO, Dummy me. I did use $4.00 coupon on all of them but still ended up paying almost $20 more than I should have so the total should be more like $7.xx. I also used the $10/$50 coupon that expires 10/6/09 and I still have a few left so I'll make another run of some sort on Tuesday.
If anyone knows any good deals that would help me reach $50 fast and still have a low OOP let me know. Hope the Joint Juice cat is still spitting out.

If I ever need to get to $50, I go see if they ahve any meat on mark-down. There have been TONS of mark-downs lately here, tons of meat, and I even got Tropicana for $1 a carton today.

That's one area I didn't even look at yesterday. I'll check out those meat prices on Tuesday while I'm out running around. TY!
I got lots of Fred Meyer brand 1/2 gallon jugs of orange juice for $1 each yesterday so we are good on OJ here. Fred Meyer has a coupon about every other week and all Fred Meyer brand milk, chocolate milk, and orange juice 1/2 gallon size are 10 for $10.

thats what i ususally do too. go for the meat. this time i had other things we needed so i did those instead, and regret not buying meat. the ground turkey that we eat was bogo and i could have gotten a ton at $2 each. they all had peelies on them too, but I dont' remember what they were for. Meat guy was standing next to me and so I didn't read the fine details on the back side and forgot to look later.

of course meats not the lowest oop but in the long run of things it is.

Gosh, I sneeze and am at 50..
Clearanced meat was a great idea though.
I also find lots of the clearanced yogurts that we have coupons for that make it dirt cheap!
But it expires that day or the next, so be prepared to eat the yogurt!
With three boys it gets eaten in a few days easily here!
