I have been contacted by Dave Ramsey Show!
As many of you are aware I am a Dave Ramsey nut.
For those of you who do not know who Dave Ramsey is - He is a financial guru with sound advice - not investing advice, but how to live your life and not be in debt. I have worked on his tactics for about 14 months now and it worked for me - I am now debt free except for my home. He ha a show on Fox News on satellite on Wednesday nights. It is a call in show where you talk about your debt problems or successes etc. Well..I called for a different reason. I got out of debt by massive stockpiling and then re-selling. All money was used to pay off creditors. I never want to be "normal" so I called his show and told my story. How I got out of debt, how I help others do so. They are very intrigued as they really do not get the concept of buying things using coupons, and then selling. To them, you should never buy something you don't need or won't use just because you have a coupon, I spent about an hour on the phone with them explaining it. Also spoke of this site etc.. I am going to be speaking with them next week again. I am trying to get on as a guest on their show live. In early winter, they did have Couponmom.com on showing how to save money on your grocery bill using coupons. This would extend this - way out. This is a great opportunity for me to give back what I have learned through stockpiling and using coupons. I hope they do have me on the show in late spring just before my next sale - so they can see how much it truly does work. This is my plan! Putting weusecoupons.com on the map at a global scale. It would be fabulous if it worked out. Even if I just got to call in and tell the story..it would be great! I will keep everyone apprised of how the talks are going. I don't want any money from them for this (I don't even know if they do that)..I just want to do it! This feeling of not being a slave to debt is the most incredible feeling I have felt since the birth of my children - I know that sounds weird, but it is so liberating. That is what couponing and WUC has done for me and I want the world to know it My Coupons are my American Express Card - Don't leave home without them!
