 if I had the money Id go buy a steak just to b able to cook

madtazzy, I am right there with ya.
We've had floor issues for ten years, since I bought the house and DH knocked some walls down to make the kitchen bigger. He started a project that he didn't finish. I FINALLY got some 'real' floors. We'd been walking on part nasty nasty rolled vinyl from the 40's, part plywood, and part mushy floor (house is pier and beam). FINALLY got my new floor last week, and it has made a world of difference. Also got the oven (finally - reference my Rant about Lowe's if you didn't hear) from Home Depot, it's gas and it's installed. MOMMA's COOKIN NOW! Didn't mean to hijack your thread, madtazzy. Just wanted you to know that I hear ya, sister! Never thought I'd get so excited about a floor and an oven. My momma says I've grown up. *sniff* Coupons are like lottery tickets that win every time!

I can relate though. Dh starts a job and doesn't finish it and then starts another one. argh! He has started finishing the unfinished ones thankfully.
