Walmart Small, but finally no problems 8/23 trip

My family avoids Wal-Mart as much as possible. There are 6 within a 45min drive, and all but 1 is ALWAYS crowded. After our last experience with a store, and the CSM being a pain (who happened to be a family member and acted like I was trash), I said I was done... Well sure enough, we ran out of items that other stores around here don't have. Told my husband and he just rolled his eyes. So since we had to get meat at Foodlion, we opted to go to the closest Wal-Mart, the one he can't stand cause in a small county like ours, everyone knows everyone. Luckily, this trip actually turned out. And yes, I am a cashier scouter. After picking everything off this list, and 2 packs of bowls that were not on this list because the husband decided he needed them for cereal since I melted one in a freak gravy accident, I scouted out a cashier, and now that I have bored you with a history recap, here was our trip:

1- 100ct medical gloves @ 9.24
2- pks Jello @ .74= 1.48
1- Knox Gelatin @ 1.48
1- Painters Tape @ 3.67
2- Pull-Ups Flushable Wips @ 1.64= 3.28
2- 2pk Bowls @ 1.98= 3.96
4- men's BIC Disposable Razors @ 2.96= 11.84
16- Gillette trail size shave gel @ 1.27= 20.32 (and more left, but Hubby said lets go)
Total before tax: 55.27

Coupons used:
4- $3.00 off BIC = $12.00
2- 0.50 Pull up Wipes = $1.00
4 - $6.00/3 Gillette = $24.00
2- $3.00/2 Gillette = $6.00
Total coupons = $43.00

So after 5.3% and 2.5% tax total was 15.11... with figured is around 73%.

My husband thought we were going to spend around $50, which is around normal when we have to go. So for him "losing", I was treated to a nice home cooked steak dinner with the London Broil steak we got at Foodlion for a little over $5 (Manager Discount from $11).

Thank you for sharing the story and breakdown of your awesome Walmart shopping trip with us. Sorry to hear about the freak gravy accident melting a bowl. But hey, at least your hubby was impressed with your shopping trip and rewarded you with a Manager's Discounted London broil. Sounds yummy!

Ok so this freak gravy accident.... I hope this makes u giggle..
So my husband's cereal bowls are plastic, larger than should be ones. I had fixed a turkey and stuffing for supper n forgot the gravy (3yr old actin like a 13 yr old you forget things). Anyways.. As we are finishing up, husbands says u forgot the gravy, n luckioy i had a jar of chicken gravy. Poured it in the bowl, put one of those plastic protectors that blocks liquids from going all over the microwave on it..followed directions. Harmless right? Well bell sounds, go to pull lid off n its stuck.. Ok no biggie it will release once preasure has.. Few mins later no release..uh oh. Pulled it out.. N i made a new serving dish. Unfortunally i didnt take a pick of the inside but do have one of what we seen in the microwave. If you look close you can see the bowl is sucked up in the middle. One the inside it looked like a star. This happened several months back and to this day im not allowed to maie gravy.
