A great first try!
Today was my first day to get serious about couponing, and I am absolutely elated! I saved approximetely $40.00 with my coupons plus the additional markdowns on the food I purchased. I realize that is not in the "major leagues" but I'm thrilled with my first attempt!
One of my students (I teach adults "how to teach") gave a presentation about couponing. His wife has been couponing for years, and has learned all the ways to save, so is quite successful with it. His presentation was very inspiring. His class graduated Friday, I started couponing Saturday, and made my first couponing purchases Sunday. Already, I can tell that this can be quite addictive-- I woke up at 4am to look for more coupons! And what a thrill when I watched the balance at the register go down as the cashier rang up each coupon! I'm hooked!!! I eagerly look forward to the next time. In the meantime, I'm going to learn as much as I can, to be more successful next time. I called my brother when I returned from the store and gave him a play by play of the entire event-- he is going to now check out the site. Thanks for the wise words. Yancy
