any closing stores by you
we have a couple of OD stores closing in our area. They are a newer to the area chain...just wondered if anyone else had stores closing. The deals they have had are not good...

They have or are in the middle of closing down over 100 (I think it was 109) stores and there are 6 (some say 9) more to be announced by the end of the year.
They are saying they are going to open up 20 new stores next year. Go figure  They are also changing their price structure too. Meaning a lot of items will be a lot cheaper! That is suppose to be taking place at any time now.

Gosh I hope they don't close our store down. It is the closest store in a two hour drive.
Is there a list of the stores that are closing?  Co-Forum Leader for the Welcome Center and Squeeze Back married my high school sweetheart, the love of my life  God gave us three beautiful blessings

USA Today Some other papers are saying 112 but the 109(ish) story I got plus the other info about the new stores and the pricing changes came from an OD Meeting.

what is funny is that one of the stores that is closing is in a bran new building...that I assume they built...maybe not maybe they lease...thanks for the information.

That happened to a new Super K in Arkansas. Soon as they got it ready and opened, they shut it down.
Weird.
