Default Essential Oils - Do you use them?

Within the last couple of months, I have been learning more about essential oils and their uses plus started using a few.

I learned there is an app for iphone and ipad from Aura Cacia (free) that has essential oils listed along with their uses, recipes to use them for as aromatherapy, etc.

Do you use essential oils? Any good ones you wish to share about?

I just purchased Aura Cacia Lavender essential oil. Mixed with olive oil is a great treatment for dry and thinning hair. It's also very calming. I put a few drops of lavender into my bath water, and spritz some on the pillows before bed.
I am checking in to more oils from that company.

I use Tea Tree Oil for breakouts, and in homemade baby wipes. It keeps them from getting smelly because it prohibits bacterial growth. Also, keeping them in the fridge helps, too. I just warm them in my hands before use.

Tea Tree Oil has been one of my go to essential oils for many things.. bug bite, pimple breakout, etc.

I also like lavender and eucalyptus for colds.

I just read an article on The Idea Room website about doterra and ow essential oils have helped her so much.

Here is the link.

Health Update & doTerra Essential Oils - The Idea Room

I just Lush Tea Tree Oil toner and Tea Tree Oil pimple cream called Grease Lightning. I love Lush.
They use natural ingredients and is the only face wash I can use. I love the lip scrub directions, scrub onto lips, lick off. . It's so yummy.

I love essential oils and use them regularly: I put a few drops of grapefruit oil down plug holes, use a mix of bicarb and tea tree oil to clean between bathroom tiles with an old toothbrush to get rid of any mould, and put a few drops of what ever oil I fancy (lemon at the moment) into an incense burner - even just letting it sit there unlit makes the room smell nice.

Woo hoo!!!! I love essential oils, thanks for posting this! I use the eucalyptus oils and put in small spray bottle with a little bit of water (so its 30 dropps to about 8 oz of water) and it makes a natural room spray. The eucalyptus is known to kill the bacteria itself that causes the odor. I know this sounds terrible too, but if you spray it in your toilet before you take a poo, then it kills the odor on contact and then no more smelly bathroom after you go. So yeah, it works, I tried it. I love it!!!

I am very curious and would love to find out more on these. I adore eucalyptus. I have issues with headaches with most commercial air fresheners and am curious about their other uses also.
