IGA is the only grocery store I have in town. My Walmart is the next town over. No Shaw's, no Hannaford, no Market Basket... nothin' lol! Not sure how prices vary by region, but I find them for the most part very expensive (hence the couponing). It's to the point where, before I go in there with my coupons during a sale, I have to double check that it's not cheaper without a coupon at Walmart. I do pretty well on cereal from time to time ($1.50/box). Lately they've been running a lot of "Stock Up" sales with many items 10/$10 so if you can find coupons for those items you'll make out pretty good. I made out like a bandit on hot chocolate last week during one of those sales. They also do a lot of 2 for $X sales. Drives me crazy because mostly all my coupons for $X off X number of items are $1/3 lol.
I guess you'd have to do a "research trip" to check prices. I will say that right now I would kill for some good Vitamin water Q's and Betty Crocker Brownie Mix Q's. VW is on sale for $1 this week and the brownie mix (family size) is on sale for $0.99. Bought three boxes of that tonight without Q's just because it was so cheap to begin with. Good Luck!
