today is day 3 of the military diet, no weight loss this morning, still at 121.8, so happy with that.
tomorrow I will be starting a low fat-low carb- high protein diet. very excited for this.

and seeing how things go, I may do a fat-fast this next month.

working out at the gym 3 days a week, walking dog everyday.
taking my apple cider vinegar, garcinia camogia and forskolin. and colon cleanse pill, only 1 a day of those.
drinking lots of water, drinking lots of green tea- cold, hot, or decaf.

Hi gals I got my lady time this a.m. so I've been struggling diet-wise lol, I'm not going to stress it too much just keep exercising and active so I don't gain!!

Had someone ask me at the gym this morning when I'm due. When I told him, he said, "So I guess your doctors have cleared it for you to stay active and lift?" I said yes, they told me I can do anything I did before I was pregnant in moderation of course, and as long as I remember to eat and stay hydrated. Some may have found it offensive that he asked that, but for me, I'd rather have that than people not asking and making assumptions under the misguided pretense that they're being tactful. I appreciated the directness rather than staring and assuming.

down to 219.4 this morning.
total lost with the military diet, 4.6 pounds. today I am starting my high protein low carb diet. with the focus not so much on low fat (healthy fats good) but on getting my protein requirement and keeping below 20g carbs. daily.
its a variation of atkins, similar to keto diet. not sure what to call it till I do more research.
you are not supposed to be hungry at all on this diet.

Jay: I think it is awesome you are maintaining a workout routine while pregnant! I've never been pregnant myself, but I've heard about the physical challenges of it (especially late into a pregnancy) and I am in awe that you can find the motivation to go to the gym! I should have no excuses now LOL . Also, I'm sorry to hear people give you looks and judge you...that's ridiculous! Everyone's body is different...of course some women have very challenges pregnancies that do require complete rest, but others do not and trying to stay as physically strong/healthy as possible while pregnant should be applauded, not rudely stared at. Just my 2 cents. Hope you are doing well and can't wait to hear when you deliver a healthy baby!

Claire: Way to hang in there with the plank challenge! Sorry to hear you were struggling a bit due to your period. I can totally relate - I always get strong cravings!

Shad: Congrats on the weight loss. I had actually never heard of the military diet before and I personally wouldn't recommend it long term after reading up on it, but I'm glad it helped you break your plateau! Sometimes a short term switch up can really help Also, great to hear you're walking everyday and going to the gym regularly! Keep up the good work.

DamiamMom: You have me really interested in trying to find some baby bananas now! LOL I don't think I've ever seen them (or at least paid attention to them) while grocery shopping...I did a little reading up on them and they are supposedly sweeter than normal bananas (ETA - Cocoa confirms that as well!)....will have to keep my eyes open!

Katie: Your post reminded me how much I used to like eating clementines as a snack! Gotta pick some up from the store next time I go

I have had a bad few days...but, today I worked in the yard, did weights and 15 minutes on the ski machine. Still eating well. I did have a half priced shake at Sonic last night (still have half in the freezer). I am not craving chips at all since I discovered the pickles.

Ive had q rough week im pmsing and the cravings and emotions are strong on top of crazy sick kiddos and normal routine off balanced.

I talked with my gf who were doing this together and didnt lie about my week. Facing the truth. And restarting.

I didn't go to the gym today. My family threw a baby shower at my place and were here all weekend. We had a blast, but man was I tired today! LOL. Been contemplating if I'll do a small workout once the boys are in bed. Friday, I started swelling a bit, and have been swelling consistently since then, so it may be time for me to stop, or it's from all the junk I ate this weekend at the baby shower LOL. I haven't eaten much better today. My sister in law bought Thanks a lot Girl Scout cookies as thank you gifts for all that attended the shower. She left the rest with us...11 packages! Since I'm so tired from the weekend, I've been eating anything easy which includes those cookies lol.

Hi gals didn't have much time to post, I very the weekend usually I rest but Sunday I went to the gym did a good run on treadmill and an exercises, plank challenge. Today walked 3 miles and plank challenge again, I am on day 21 I took an extra rest day on Saturday mostly bc I forgot to do it lol!!
