RockOn March 2017 CHALLENGE - Healthy Living! (Nutrition/Fitness/Sleep/Stress,etc)

Welcome!
This group challenge is all about focusing on making positive changes to your daily routine to improve your health (or maintain a healthy lifestyle if you are already working on things).

This can include (but isn't limited to):
- Eating Healthy
- Exercising
- Quitting Smoking and other "Bad Habits"
- Sleep Goals
- Mental Health / De-stress / Meditation

While a trackable goal, is not required to participate, it can help keep yourself accountable. Examples of goals might be: Eat X amount of fruits/veggies per day; Eliminate soda X days per week; Get X hours of sleep each night; Meditate for 10 minutes every day; Get 10,000 steps each day; Workout X days this month; Maintain daily food/stress journal....

I'm sure this doesn't need to be said with the awesome WUCkies we have here, but please be respectful of everyone's goal. We are all at different levels and have different lifestyles. You aren't competing with anyone else here, just yourself

Hi gals I'm in for march!! Yesterday did cardio workout and day 3 of plank challenge, this morning Zumba was canceled so I went to the gym did treadmill for 1/2 hour then did core exercises on the mat, and day #4 plank challenge while i was at it. I hadn't been on treadmill for a while, I jogged straight thru for 22 mins, not too shabby. Had to fast walk the rest tho. I know it's not great endurance but it's way better than even where I was 2 months ago. I still haven't lost any weight, so I need to do better dieting this month. I'm going to give it another try giving up energy drinks, last time I tried to cut back on coffee too this time I'm just going to focus on energy drinks and take it one step at a time.

Go claire. Thats awesome. I have been a few days without pop and i am past headaches. Im really focusing on food and portion sizes. Walking when i can with weather up n down here. My gf is doing this w it h me and we text each other when were stressed or what we ate for lunch dinner. I find it helpful even if she doesnt msg back right away im still accountable. Ive even allowed myself mini reese cups just the serving size on bag not the whole bag ehem! Haha.

Great job about the pop, Katie. Those headaches are killer and can be a huge deterrent for those trying to stop drinking pop. Having someone where y'all hold each other accountable is useful, too. Good luck with the focus on food and portion sizes.

Thanks jay im motivated to lose #20 by july and keep going after that. I can notice changes already for example not so bloated belly shrinking as if i had a baby
