Welcome June 2017 CHALLENGE - Healthy Living! (Nutrition/Fitness/Sleep/Stress,etc)

Welcome!
This group challenge is all about focusing on making positive changes to your daily routine to improve your health (or maintain a healthy lifestyle if you are already working on things).

This can include (but isn't limited to):
- Eating Healthy
- Exercising
- Quitting Smoking and other "Bad Habits"
- Sleep Goals
- Mental Health / De-stress / Meditation

While a trackable goal, is not required to participate, it can help keep yourself accountable. Examples of goals might be: Eat X amount of fruits/veggies per day; Eliminate soda X days per week; Get X hours of sleep each night; Meditate for 10 minutes every day; Get 10,000 steps each day; Workout X days this month; Maintain daily food/stress journal....

I'm sure this doesn't need to be said with the awesome WUCkies we have here, but please be respectful of everyone's goal. We are all at different levels and have different lifestyles. You aren't competing with anyone else here, just yourself

My goal for June is to get back to posting in this thread! Ladies, I'm sorry I haven't been around for a while...it has been an absolute crazy couple months with work, family, etc. I have hardly logged onto WUC at all (I'm lucky if I find the time once a week to start the CVS free/cheap thread.)

I'm finally ready to get back into my health/fitness routine...I haven't had a lot of time to focus on that these past couple months and I've lost some of my progress, but, like the woman in this post which I love, I'm not going to dwell on that. I plan on starting out slow and hope to start posting regularly again in this thread soon.

I do want to say how proud I am of all you ladies! When I had the idea for this thread in January, I really had no idea it would be embraced like this and offer such wonderful support/encouragement...You are all amazing! Thanks to everyone who has continued to post and make this thread a welcome community

Hi gals! Well Friday was the last day I exercised so I'm looking forward to getting back to that, I ruptured my eardrum (from an ear infection caused by my illness) so I can't get too sweaty but that doesn't mean I can't get active!! I'm planning to walk the 2 mile loop w DS2 tmrw and maybe do some plank challenge. My goal this month is to do one thing a day to boost my immune system, and to keep active as possible but not overdo it while I'm recovering!! I really got hit hard w the illnesses in May and I want to give my immune system time to recover and strengthen too!!
