Did zumba class yesterday sore but great to go back to it!! Had a healthy breakfast still haven't done any sugar drinks!! Lattes energy drinks etc are my weakness I've swapped with green tea it's working so far!

Hi gals did 1/2 hour cardio yesterday feeling sore still but good, won't be able to go to zumba today as DS2 sick so I'm home w him, but I will be eating healthy and make sure to do a workout at home in case I catch it...

I set a goal of losing 10 pounds this year. For January I'd like to lose 2 pounds by the end of the month. Last year was about exercising and getting in shape and I feel that I did well and have established a great routine and my body is healthier and stronger...I went from barely doing yoga once a week to regular cardio workouts at least every other day and I am so happy with that!! I do want to slim down a little bit so this year I will be focusing more on healthy eating choices.

Today I had lunch with one of my neighbor...I try some foods for all around the world some of it was good and some not so good...I'm making a healthy smoothies to get it out !!!!

Hi gals I'm still here sore in a good way from workout yesterday, didn't catch DS2 bug but kept busy taking care of him, still managed to exercise at home and I was able to get out to zumba class w him yesterday he is doing much better. I've been focusing more on watching what I eat, and it's going pretty well!!

I did a workout at home yesterday and made a healthy dinner, did the hour of zumba class this morning and then had a protein shake w cranberries yum. I am still eating pretty healthy it's a challenge for me but I am doing well not drinking anything w sugar.

Finally saw a doc to figure out what was going with my right shoulder as I've had pain it for at a decade. Turns out I have 2 partial tears in my rotator cuff and tendinosis. Received a steroid injection to help with pain and inflammation yesterday. Will also do physical therapy 1-2x a week for 6 weeks to retrain my shoulder to move as it should, instead of compensating for the pain/inflammation.

Once I'm done with physical therapy, I plan on starting to take up swimming again. I loved doing it for exercise, but haven't done it many years in part due to the shoulder pain.

James good luck in the physical therapy it's great you have a plan in place to fix the problem and move forward!! I hope it goes well.

I took the day off Friday and did a cardio workout this morning!! Still no sugar drinks!!

Best guess as to what caused it is was an accident when I was a teenager where I landed really hard on my shoulder on some concrete. Didn't have health insurance at the time, so couldn't get it looked at.

Looking forward to swimming and losing some weight. Looking to lose about 60 - 70 pounds and swimming is easier on the joints.
