I had mine out 2 months ago. Recovery was almost instant. As soon as I woke up they asked if I was alright and that was it. Home I went. I had it done on a Friday and I was back at work on Monday. No problems at all. Bit of the runs for a few days but I just let myself believe that I was on a diet and all it was more acceptable to me. It was touch and go with some foods afterwards, as some did not want to stay in me for very long (TMI?). But I can now say that at two months later I am eating just as I was before and I do not have the pain behind my tummy anymore. Wish I had done it sooner.

Agree with the Ultrasound, It was like she had a goal in mind and she targeted right in on the sore spot. I jumped, but then I was okay once the initial shock was over.

My gallbladder was completely blocked with a stone that was the size of my thumb print - cause - pain meds that I had been taking for several years due to 2 back surgeries; I do not have high cholesterol. Now I am pain med free and no gallbladder and feeling 1 million times better.

On my frugal note: I made a lot of meals before hand, the blander the better. Other family members can spice theirs up. Stick with plain bulk chicken, bulk rice, mash potatoes, plain pasta, things like that. You have to be careful of the stitches for a week or two but they dissolve and the plastic covering and gauze comes off with ease so be sure to not reach too high in the shelves and no driving for a day or two till you are comfortable. I was fine by Monday.

Yep, I make both on a regular basis.
I can't type them up right now, but will later on and send them to you.
Just an FYI, i use wheat flour in mine, but white flour works just as well in them just substitute it cup for cup

All 6 children caught whatever it was and shared it with me. They had two rounds of z-packs as well as cough meds. I had to take two back to the dr. this morning as they are still coughing up junk. More x-rays on them which are fine now. One had x-rays last time that showed one of his lungs looking bad. Dr. first thought they had a virus but now seems to think they had the flu because they ran temps and stuff with it. I refuse to give my children that flu shot. Dh and I don't take it either.

I went to the dr. yesterday (dh had to drive me as I felt like I was going to pass out). I have bronchitis and now on a stronger antibiotic, cough med, and an inhaler.

It hit me so hard Friday night all at once that I could hardly breath. Children's dr. gave me a z-pack but it was not helping. I felt like throwing up all the time, feeling like passing out, running 102.1 temps and just generally feeling like crud. I feel a little better today. Dh stayed home Monday with me because I was coughing so bad during the night and throwing up plus almost passing out in the shower.

Yesterday he came home from work and took me to the dr. as I was feeling week and like I was going to pass out. Started the new antibiotics yesterday and today is much better.

Thanks for info peanuts123, my biggest thing is just being at our hospital freaks me out, when had my kids couldn't wait to leave! Plus I've heard so many horror stories about things not going back normal afterwards ie. In regards your tmi quote, scares me but I'm gonna have to face reality soon

Glad things are getting better foggy! I too refuse the flu shot for da and I. Dh has to get it because of the military. I kept getting sick from the shot and then still got the flu. Once I stopped roaming the shot I stopped getting the flu. Funny how that works.

Am keeping up on housework really well and am accompany my mom to her college classes on weds nights so she is treating me to dinner out every weds.
