Caution Warning! PawSafe Freebie Stains!!

I used the green toilet bowl cleaner and it stained my painted walls when some accidently hit the wall. Also, I used the purple multi purpose cleaner on a spot on the carpet. I know its not for carpets, but hey its a multipurpose cleaner. So, I decided to try it. Well, now my carpet has a purple spot! I have tried everything from a to z to get it out. Just a warning to be cautious when using this stuff near anything that you don't want get stained. Now I have to repaint the spot in my bathroom and some how get the purple out my carpet. Thank goodness this stuff was free!

I dated a guy that had his own carpet cleaning business. He taught me to use heat transfer for stains from kool-aid, make-up, etc. Take a wet rag and lay it over the stain and use a hot iron to and steam lift the stain. It worked on several stains that I've encountered over the years. Hope it helps.

I was thinking that it was going to stain... now im glad I know ... before i used it on anything stainable (SP?)

However, I did use the Multi Purpose one to clean my garbage can out ( for some reason we cant seem to keep the darn thing clean & cant stop the dog from licking it)
And it worked perfect.. and even made it NOT GREASY ! Which is a wonderful thing since its next to the stove and gets grease on it almost everyday!

I am glad I don't have a PetSmart or Petco close by. The 30 + mile drive for free stuff just wasn't worth it to me.

I was kind of concerned about it staining also, since I saw it had beet sugar in it. That just made me think Beet purple and that it would stain. Nonetheless, my wife use the MultiPurpose cleaner in our carpet cleaner and from best I can tell I don't see any stains. Over all we got about 50 or 60 bottles free and most of them went to the humane society. Never could find any of the floor cleaner as it was always out of stock when we went. We did go back the final day of the sale Saturday, and they had marked them up to $2.99. My wife spoke with the manager and explained the sale was not to change until Sunday. He honored it and we got about 20 more bottles to go the humane society.

The coupon is good until next year, so we printed quite a few in hopes it might go on sale again and we could donate to the humane society again. Gotta help those poor innocent animals.....
