Did you know...
SmartSource has different versions of their inserts? The covers may look the same, but the insides may change; the order of the coupons or which coupons you get.
In FL there are several papers that come out in my area, some free and the Paid versions. When I get the paid versions(the ones you buy at the store or subscribe to), I get different coupons than I do in the free versions. For instance, I got 3 versions of the SS on 3/25. You can tell by reading the spine of the insert, like you would a book. It contains the marketing company, SS website, date, version, and which newspapers it was inserted into.
Looks like this
News America Marketing (phone #) www. smartsource. com A News Corporation Co. 3/25/12 FSI 232-1 What's the Deal
The FSI # is the important thing. I also got 234-1 and 235-1 in different papers. So certain coupons may only be in one version. Like the 1/1 Speedstick, was only in the 235-1 version.
So this is why some people may get coupons that others don't. So not only are coupons regional, they vary by newspaper. So before you promise someone 20 yogurt coupons, because you assume you have them in all of your 20 inserts, be sure to check the spine to see if they all match.
Hope this makes sense.
