$2 Country time/ Kraft BBQ Sauce peelie- please share your thoughts

There is currently a peelie on Kraft BBQ Sauce which states:
Save $2 off one (1) 8qt canister of COUNTRY TIME or KOOL-AID Drink Mix when you buy TWO (2) bottles of KRAFT Barbecue Sauce (17.5 oz or larger).

I'm curious what everyone thinks about this coupon, do you feel it should also be used along with another coupon for country time lemonade? (meaning the $2 off would be attached to the BBQ Sauce not the lemonade? )

Thanks!

When Kroger had the Country Time and Koolaid for $1 about a month ago, I found peelies on the BBQ. I used the peelie for the Koolaid and Country time and use $1/2 mani Q for the BBQ that was in our coupon inserts at that time.

Since I don't have any Q's for the BBQ sauce, I would use the peelie for the Koolaid/Country Time making them free and pay $1.18 for 2 bbq and 1 Koolaid/Country Time since they are part of the Mega sale. HTH :)

I agree. Some might say that you shouldn't use any other coupons with the $2 off coupon, but I personally feel that using a bbq sauce with this is ok. If it said save $2.00 on bbq sauce wyb koolaid, then I would feel that it would be possible to use a coupon on koolaid or country time. For me, I feel when it says "wyb" on the q, that is the item that an additional coupon can be used, for most situations.

I think it really just matters what item(s) the coupon attaches to. If it attaches to 2 bbq sauce and 1 countrytime, well there you go.
I did this deal at fred mayer where I got 7 bbq and 3 lemonade, used 3 peelies, paid $3.20 AND then received a $2 cat.

:goodpost: I would have to agree. This coupon only attaches to the Kool-Aid and/or Country Time. Most of us that did the deal last month were able to use the Kraft bbq sauce coupons with the $2 peelie making all 3 items free in most cases. There are a lot of coupons out there though that will attach to all products and not let you use any other coupons with them.

It sounds like we all are under the agreement that the $2 is being taken off the COUNTRY TIME or KOOL-AID but NOT the BBQ Sauce, correct?

I'm not one for pointing fingers and will not but there is a blogger who is insisting that this coupon ($2 peelie) is taken off the BBQ sauce and is promoting also using the $1/2 Country Time along with the peelie!

This is how they are promoting/teaching others:
Buy (6) Kraft Barbecue Sauce 17.5-18oz, $.89
- $0.30 Daytona 500 Mega
Final Price = $0.59
Buy (4) Country Time Lemonade Canister, $2.00
$1/2 Country Time Canister, exp. 6/30/12 (SS 05/06/12 R)
- $0.30 Daytona 500 Mega
Final Price = $2.40/2
Use (3) Save $2.00 Peelie Coupons

I along with others have called them out on this but they are not budging.. really bothers me when someone who teaches coupon classes and has a popular blog promotes this type of coupon usage when we all know that the peelie says $2 off Country Time/Kool -Aid (wyb bbq sauce)

** btw if this particular person(s) is reading this, I am in no way will say your name or the name of your blog but I do wish you will learn something from this and realize you are wrong in this scenario and possibly others which have come along with similar coupons! **

I did this at Krogers 5 times today - here is part of a transaction:

4 BBQ Sauce used 4 .50/1 coupons - doubled
2 Country Time Lemonade - used 2 of the $2.00/1 Peelies

Peelie attaches to the Country Time/ KoolAid wyb 2 BBQ sauces. ($2 off 1 drink mix)

Per FL and MOD's, using both Country Time Q's is not allowed. Since the wording is for $ off Country Time, only 1 Country Time Q should be used. HTH everyone with the confusion. :)
