Ok I went to 2 stores near me today since I had running around to do.
First store I picked up 6 Gas-X and was able to use PQ and MQ. They didn't have many so I figured I would get it at next store. Go to second store and they were strict on the PQ saying "that it has to be on the 42ct or higher and not on the trial size". I tried explaining but no go (I was being rung up by the customer service manager). I was kind of mad and already ready t pay and a long line so I just checked out with them and figured I would return them. I decided to stop by the Publix next to my house and to see if I could do a price adjustment and she said sure and I got my $15 back but the lady said that store would not let you price adjust your receipt with coupons after the fact of the sale. So a few things: 1. The PQ 42ct is specific for the Prevacid correct? 2. Was I wrong for going to another store and price adjusting knowing that the coupon should apply to those? and married to Stormi and my DD(9) who is a a lazy Pei named Sake and a baby boy due in Sept

It would be easier for them to just price adjust and it does NOT matter if you used coupons on the item but if they wouldn't then you return it and then buy it back... but I really dont know if you can even do that... Because I did that once with Bayer Aspirin at Walmart and they didn't let me re-buy them, she said that medicine products they HAVE to return to the manufacture and I cant re-buy them unless they have some on their shelves... sucked because they didn't.... The Prevacid is the ONLY one that has a count, should have pointed out the commas that separate the products lol

They don't even make a 42 ct GasX...at least not that I've seen in any store. I ran into this the other day with these q's, but pointed out that there was a comma after & that the store carried 6, 8, 10 & 12 ct boxes of the GasX only...at that point the cashier agreed the q was good on the boxes I was buying.
Had it been me in the situation & they didn't listen/agree to apply the q, I would have made them remove the products from my transaction - pain or not, I'm not paying for something if they're not letting me apply a legit coupon to. That being said, I see no problem with you getting your adjustment from another store since Publix are all corporate owned...just my opinion ![]() Hopefully your future trips work out better for you! We're still waiting on the stores in our area to get restocked with all the MM items...some have been out since shortly after the green flier came out. Hoping to nab some more GasX before the q's expire, these work wonderfully for the hubby who can't seem to drink water lately without it giving him gas, lmao.

I used mine and don't have one to look at, but I checked gas-x website and the closest they have is Extra Strength 48-count. No 42cts.
I don't see a problem with you getting it adjusted. I think she was just saying if the sale was over you can't come back and say you want your money back. Leslie Start earning cashback at Kroger, CVS, Target and more through Ibotta!**post may include affiliate links** |
