I am so sick of paying $150 each month for our 2 smartphones through Verizon with unlimited NOTHING!!
I do not even use the Internet on my phone. I mainly use it to text and take pics. I love my iPad, always have it with me and can't stand using a smaller screen . BUT if I am desperate I will break out my iPod. Anybody have AT&T NET 10..How is the service and customer service?? |

We have att, two iPhones, split a 1g unlimited data (never go over), unlimited talk/long distance/international family plan. It's $136. We get service in our area where many people don't. Be sure to ask around about that a cheaper plan with bad service is not worth the few dollars you may save. We have a 10% discount through work. Check into that there are several companies they give discounts too. We also NEVER upgrade at AT&T or through their website rip off. We both have 4s phones and got them free at best buy they will activate a new account too. We have been with AT&T forever but thought about switching. Couldn't find a better deal with the same service. My friend has Verizon and has no service in my house, we have full bars. Something for you to consider

I called AT&T, I was tired of our bill, and was going to cancel and go prepaid. They asked what I was going to spend prepaid, and matched it pretty much. They key with "unlimited" data on these prepaid plans is there is always a catch, it usually slows down after a certain amount and they can cut it off completely after so much. Also, we live in the country and I have found through friends that many prepaid providers do not get as good reception. While prepaid companies use the big name towers, postpaid customers get priority, and just because they get reception doesn't mean you will, just depends on your area.
I pay about $170 a month for three lines, unlimited talk and text and 4 gb of data. AT&T rolled out new family share plans first of the year, and that is what we went to, they are different than the older share plans, and much cheaper. *Misty*

I have a prepaid tracfone and I get great reception. I used to have a prepaid virgin Mobile and the reception was spotty at best. I do believe that net10 is the one to choose if you use more minutes. I only call and text with my phone so I pay $20 every three months for about 200 mintes. Each text counts as one third of a minute. HTH
