I've been using this program for a while. There are some great features and recently some not so great.

Plusses:
You can often go to any store, including those that don't take coupons and get deals, sometimes in multiples, say up to 5 per receipt.

Minuses: You have to wait until you accumulate $20 to cash out and then wait for them to mail you a check.

Frequently, offers CAN'T be used with a coupon. The site has become rather inconsistent about where they post this information. It used to be at the bottom of the offer. Now they've begun mixing that prohibition into the sometimes lengthy text that follows the image of the item.

I routinely scroll down to see if "Cannot be used in combination with any other coupon or offer." appears at the end. This past weekend I was denied a rebate that did not have this clearly stated at the end. Instead, they'd mixed the information in with other text earlier in the offer.

This inconsistency is frustrating and makes it hard to determine which offers you need to be wary of. I had budgeted a purchase based on the assumption that a coupon could be used with the item. Now I have to take the item back to the store for a refund.

Has anyone else had similar problems with them? I used to use Shopmium, but because you can't use coupons with their offers, I basically deleted it from my phone. I'm thinking of discontinuing using CO51 for the same reason as I'm finding that more and more of their offers have this prohibition against using coupons.

I'm not sure if maybe it's because I mostly redeem for food, but I don't see many of the "cannot be combined with a coupon" disclaimers. I have had issues with verification more than usual lately (being that I had NONE before lol), but they've always been resolved and I was given credit.

I've also never seen the "offer cannot be combined with coupon" hidden within text as well, but I'll be sure to keep a lookout now, so thank you.

I was checking some of the offers for paper products and while the Kleenex is fine with MQs, you can't use them with the Scott Paper Towels. It's kind of like negotiating a mine field.

At least with Shopmium, you simply can't use coupons. They hardly ever have any offers, but when they do, you can go to stores that don't take coupons, retailers like Big Lots or Grocery Outlet, and get the discounts that way.

Yes, that is a bit frustrating that we do have to stay on our toes as to whether a specific rebate can or cannot be combined with coupons. If we get too excited over a possible good deal, we may easily forget to read the fine print in our haste to get the product and upload (since you have to be quick with that as well lest you run the risk of the offer being depleted).

ever since they started with no stacking of mfr coupons to get the cashback, I lost interest in CO51. I still collect the .25 regularly for produce I buy and other items which is on my buy list. It takes me a while to reach $20 now
