Ok here is what has happened lately....

About a month ago, my wheel bearing when out on my car. My husband fixed it but got a wrong part for it (his fault), and my wheel almost fell off. Well that has been fixed, but 2 days ago, I went to go to the grocery store and the tire was flat. I got a new tire for hubby to put it on the rim because it's cheaper, but he can't get it on the dang rim!! So now I have to take it somewhere and pay more. Wait, there's more....

Hubby was getting ready to go to work this morning, but he came back because his truck is making an awful grinding metal to metal noise in the wheel area! So he had to drive the old car we have, and that one has bad shocks in the back! Wait, there's more....

A couple of weeks ago, my mother and I was selling stuff at a flea market about 40 min away and her SUV fuel pump went out! We had it towed and she paid about 160.0 for a sensor but 3 days ago, it did it again and it ended up being the fuel pump, and that was almost 400.00!!!

I feel cursed because every car I get into seems to break down! I feel like we will not be able to go on our vacation in June to the Outer Banks

I'm trying to keep my head up high and think positive, but it sure is hard!!

I hear ya! Last fall we paid $2500 to put a new engine in my old car that my son drives. I've gotten to the point where I budget a hundy a month into an account just for fixit bills so it's there when needed. Pitiful.

I'm with ya on this one. My DS's truck is in the shop as we speak. His thermostat went out two days ago in that bad storm that blew through here. Now, when the mechanic put it up on the lift, we saw where someone had put stop leak in the engine. We have to pull the engine and get the heads reworked etc. THis is the truck we got him when he was in an accident two months ago and that one was totalled. We won't even go into how many vehicles DS#1 went through with blown engines etc. We need to start a new club on here. The cursed car club!! We can all tell all of our stories and then vote a president.

Im with you. When i first started dating Wayne, like a month we hit a deer. A month later the back tire went flat while we were driving. 6 months later the front tire got messed up, 5 months after that we got rear ended, then mother's day the bolt holding the left tire in the front on to the axle came out and the tire came off the axle

Well, since I posted this morning, my DS went to pick up his truck, he hit a metal post with the side of his truck and scratched it all up "cause he didn't see it" then when he got home, it was MY fault. WTH???? I knew I shouldn't have put that sign post in the mechanic's driveway during the rain today..... why do moms always get the brunt of it all?

I'm sure it could be worse as if that isn't bad enough. Think and stay positive!
A few weeks ago I was 2 hrs away from home it was hot and miserable after doing a service call I go to get in my car and the battery was dead an no one would help me. Finally begged for a jump. Got one and still don't know why it went dead. Got home that night and my driver's side window won't roll up all the way. It does get better. Pray! It works trust me! I have been praying for ds to come home for years and it finally happened 2 weeks ago.

I'm glad that I am not the only one out here who feels like things are all of a sudden "gone crazzzzzzzzzzzzzzy !!" LOL
