I don't get how they stay in business. In order to read an offer, say to get the princely sum of $0.10 back if you spend $10 somewhere, you have to watch an annoying video trying to get you to download some video game to your smartphone. This, alone, eats up about 30 seconds of your time, then you read the rebate, have to go through the trouble of uploading image of your receipt.

Then you have to accumulate a given amount before you can get your money, a process that's guaranteed to take forever, because you have to accumulate $20, and doing so in 10 cent increments is no walk in the park.

If your account is inactive, mostly because their deals are so poor and so infrequent, they start eating into the tiny amount of cash you've earned, deducting a small amount every month so they basically move the goal posts ahead so you never reach the necessary amount to get cash back. If I were sent to hell and had to have a rebate program assigned to me, this would be ideal as a form of torture for eternity.

Why would anyone bother? I gave them a six month trial and gave up on them. Has anyone else here had any luck with this program? I ask because I'm amazed they still exist and am just wondering how they are still around.

I deactivated my account and deleted the app as well. They used to have Cash Dashes where you got "x" % back when you upload as many receipts as you have dated within a specific period of time. They've completely stopped those. And like you said, the "rewards" for what they want you to spend OOP is laughable. I had $4 and change in my acccount, but seeing as the rewards were so small, and they rarely posted stores where one would usually shop let alone in my area at all! It seems like they're doing a "I'll act out so you'll break up with me" kind of thing lol.

When I gave up I had $3 in my account and then they sent me a warning that they'd begin deducting credit due to inactivity. Well, if they don't have any offers, it's sort of hard to keep earning, isn't it? I reinstalled the app today, took a look and gave up, again deleting it.

What's the point? I don't see they're long for this world. But I did want to see if someone on here had had any success in dealing with them.

Find&Save started out so great several years ago....I remember the first few months at least when I was using it, the offers were for places I actually shopped at and they were high value....$5 when you spend $40 at grocery store or $2 wys $10 at Target. Plus, at first, they sent the money straight to your PayPal account when the receipt was approved (no minimum to cash out). Then they changed so you had to accumulate $25 before payout. Then they introduced cash dashes where you earned a % back of your total spent, which were also great at first because like Jay said, you could submit multiple receipts. And I actually got really lucky because at the time, my parents were getting ready to make a big purchase (2 brand new appliances) at a store that had a cash dash offer, so I ended up earning like $100 from that offer.

Then things started going downhill quickly...instead of offers for grocery stores, drug stores, big box stores, the offers started being for more random places. Plus the value went down (get back $1 when you spend $50). Then they got even stingier with "get back 1% when you spend at least $25 or more" and you can only submit one receipt.

Right now I have $24.37 in my cash counter...it has been a real struggle to hit that $25 (been working towards it all of 2016 I think, possibly longer). Once I finally reach $25 and they send me my money, I doubt I will continue with it. (Also, I hate that they automatically send you the money once you hit $25 because then you immediately have to start at $0 again. So annoying because for all the other ones I use, you can keep letting your account build and cash out when you want).

Edit - just wanted to say I was looking through their FAQ and it seems they no longer automatically send you the money when you reach $25 BUT you can only cash out in $25 increments ($25, $50, $75), so it's still the same idea....I can't let it keep growing and then cash out my full $35 one day lets say. I would only get $25 and have to earn another $15 before I could cash out the rest.

I don't participate in this program, but the only bad thing about letting money build in one of these things is that it carries a significant amount of risk. You never know when the company will be sold, will go bankrupt, or will change their reward structure and it's never in the person's favor. I remember when Wuckies lost out on Superpoints when they stopped paying out.

I was pretty frustrated when Snap by groupon transferred my earnings into groupon bucks, because I hadn't achieved the required cash out amount, but I was actually able to do pretty well with a variety of offers, for a heavily discounted Target gift card and for a half price offer on a certificate to shop at a really nice upscale alternative pharmacy that sells really nice cosmetics and things like good running socks. So that actually worked out to my advantage, as I got some really good deals as a result. Sadly, groupon rarely has much of interest to me. They have discounted restaurant certificates for places nobody wants to eat at or weird things like discounted treatment for toenail fungus removal via lasers. Huh?

I am sorry to hear that Find & Save has declined. I think when I first joined, I got back some reasonable offers for shopping at Target or Starbucks, so it was possible to earn 50 cents here or there, but there are probably about 3 offers a month and they're for 1% back if you spend $10 at Cost Plus World Market or other stores where I rarely shop. So for a paltry 10 cents I have to jump through a bunch of hoops in hope of getting back $25 in another 3 years? I think somebody needs to reinvigorate that program or pull the plug.

It's too bad I can't give you my little $3 worth of earnings, Mary, to put you over the threshold.

I have $14.xx in my acct. I ask them if I can get back that amount they said it has to be $25 or more
I mean there are a lot of offers that are % off you only get a little cash back. I'll ask them once more. I really doubt they will give it to me.
