Funny you ask....and that is the most common question I get. My response is this:
It's not the day, its the dumpster. In other words if you got to the paper dumpsters you will get inserts!! But if the dumpster is hidden or no one knows about it .. it won't be fun, or frequented often.

Last night we went to Wally World. At the end of the parking lot there were two recycling dupsters filled so high, the lids would not shut. I could see news papers and the colored sections hanging out.

I went to stop, but my spouse slapped me, and said that we would be seen going through dumpsters. It looks like I have some educating to do.

I know where there is some recycling dumpsters I can go through. But I just don't have the nerve yet to go through it. My husband thinks I am crazy to get inserts out of the dumpster. I think people are crazy to throw coupons away. So maybe soon I will get the nerve to do it, I am sure its the same high you get from shopping at CVS.

Honestly the first time is the hardest...you'll get paranoid and think everyone is after you...but after you realize was treasures lie in the belly of most paper dumpsters....you'll never look back!!!!!!!

I checked the link. The closest paper recycling dumpster to me is in Houston 4 1/2-5 hr drive each way.

I go during the day, evening, or whenever. I act like I am looking for boxes or if I have papers to get rid of, I act like I am putting stuff in LOL. I've noticed that a couple of them that I go to, the stupid lids are broken and when it rains, the papers are all wet!!! It's frustrating

Most of our Catholic churches have them here in Baton Rouge. I bring all of my newspaper to ours after Mass. Also, some of our public schools have them also. Now, if I can just get up the nerve.........
