They never expected a $8/2 coupon to turn their worlds upside-down.
It was icing on a cake - If you are going to be upset, be upset with the couponers that pillaged this deal.. (Single people ordering 38 products, etc..)

I didn't order anything from this promotion, but this is indeed disappointing. Perhaps they weren't prepared for the influx of orders with the $8/2 coupon that was available at the time (along with the sales at all the drug stores). I don't know what went wrong, but it is sad to see that so many planned for Christmas presents, did not receive them in time, or are now receiving entirely different items than ordered.

So if EVERYBODY is getting the substitute junk for the items ordered, who got the journals, etc? I believe the journals were the most popular item and I have yet to see one person post that they acutally recieved even one. Smells fishy to me.

Rite aid had a good sale going on at the time and with the coupons... Well, what else was I suppose to do with all those codes. LOL I just got random stuff for a christmas party for not so well off girls. Thought it would be cool to give each girl a poster and journal and t-shirt.

No reason to apologize. It was me too. I think I ordered something like 50 shirts. i didn't mean to imply anything about that. I was just saying that from a corporate standpoint (preparing for this promotion), I don't blame them for not being able to forecast the end results.

It was a 'perfect storm' kind of thing, you know?
