Info I am writing a Savings Tracker program
Something simple - probably in Excel, maybe Visual Basic if I decide to get really creative (don't count on that !).

Anyway, I am going to use it to track all costs for 1 year. At the end of the year I want to see how well I did.

this will include all RR, ECB,Rebates, Coupons etc for stores that I shop in.

This will not take long to write, and will be able to accommodate any stores. So if anyone is interested in the program when I am done, please feel free to download it.

If you find any "bugs" with it, just let me know and I will fix it.

If you have any thoughts on what you think would be great to include just let me know and I will see what I can do.

I love your idea! My husband always asks me how much I have saved with ECB's, RR's, dbl coupons and so on. I have no idea? I just know we have enough stuff to use, enough to use for gifts and a little bit to sell. I would def be interested, esp if you do it in Excel. I don't know anything about Visual Basic??

I am a developer by trade - More of an analyst now, but its like riding a bike.
It would be more of, how much time do I want to invest.

I can whip something out in a couple days in Excel vs VB which would be significantly longer.

I know there is a program, I believe called Open Doc or something that is a free program that supports Microsoft Office programs. I believe you can google it.
