finally! superfresh is catching on. they must be hurting. it's advertised on the back page of the new flyer that starts on friday sept. 25!! YAHOO! and still accepting competitor q's!

There is nothing on their website indicating they now take IPs ( I just checked ) but I'll stop by SF on my way home from work tomorrow and ask one of the manager's who is friendly!

i know. i almost fell out of the chair myself. i had to run and show my daughter and do the happy dance!! she knows how pissed i've been with SF for the ip thing and the rain check thing, so of course she was tickled about this.
please let me know what your friendly SF manager tells you! thanks!

As promised, I stopped by my Superfresh ( Cherry Hill Rd in Silver Spring ) and spoke with the GM. He told me that they will accept IPs printed in black and white, but must have an expiration date within 90 days of the day you present it. One surprise, however. I was told that IPs will not be eligible to be doubled or Tripled. ( Not sure how they'd be able to tell the computer could tell the difference...but I was told IPs wouldn't be doubled. )

I'll check this in the self checkout lanes this weekend...

I'd like to hear if the policy at your SF is the same as what I was told...

cool! i spoke with valerie, manager at ritchie highway, glen burnie store today and she states the policy is
only 2 like coupons when using ip's
no free ip's
we can use bogo ip's though
q can be no more than $5 off
and...(insert drum roll here)
they WILL allow competitor ip's!!!! whoo-hoo, my food lion flips are going to be so great there!!! now if i could only find the giant food ip's!!!

My Superfresh only considers Safeway, Giant, and Harris Teeter competitors. There are no FL in Montgomery county, so they won't accept. Also won't accept Target qs, even though there is a massive target in the same shopping center!

Thanks for 911 ladies. I have not been to SF since they closed in Glen Burnie a while back.

Last week, I used my first IPs at the Cherry Hill Rd store in Silver Spring. The cashiers weren't very prepared, so I had to educate my cashier about how to read the fine print around the edges of the coupon, etc. My cashier balked that I brought in a B&W coupon; I told him the manager told me it didn't have to be in color.

Next time I see the manager, I'll kindly let him know I had an issue or two...
