My husband and I always have our own Thanksgiving, normally the day before. We cook everything.
Then on Thanksgiving we go to his parents house for more eating, and more leftovers. ![]() So just wondering how many Thanksgivings do you normally have to go to ? I BELIEVE IN SANTA

I only have a very small amount of family(count them on one hand) and they live across the country, and we only talk once or twice a year, sooooooooooo...
DH family is dwindling down too. There isn't many left, just his parents, sisters and their little families,soooooooooooo... We only do one Thanksgiving a year. At our house. Just DH, the boys and I. Good thing too, because we can really put a hurtin' on a turkey!!! Who Dat Say They Gonna Beat Them Saints! Who Dat! WHO DAT! 9-0 ![]() Forum leader for Whats Cooking |

Two. One on Thursday w/ DH's family, one on Saturday w/ my family. And then tons more I guess if you count all the meals we have afterwards from all the leftovers.

We have two on Thanksgiving Day. First we go with my DH's family because they start early, then we go to my family's (they're always really late) so it works out. The day after Thanksgiving, we stay home, relax, and have leftovers.

We had three last year. This year it may just be one technical one at my house. I will be taking leftovers to my Mom's and grandmother's house on Thanksgiving day because they won't be able to get out for my dinner the night before Thanksgiving.
