The Pampered Chef products are expensive, but I don't mind buying something at a party, because they are heavy duty quality products that will last a lifetime.

So, how did that virtual Pampered Chef party workout for you?

It didn't do as well as the friend's party that I hosted off of. Which I expected. But I got barely enough to qualify. LOL I got the cookie scoop and an offset spatula for about $8 with shipping. So it helped me save, and was worth the time. I can't wait to make some chocolate chip cookies! Yum!

$8 Katie! That's insane!! Thrift stores are getting too hoity-toity. The filthy, smelly, dark rescue mission I was in the other day....they had crazy-high prices on alot of things. I can't buy much there for my antique booth....cause the prices are what I would need to charge...so no $ made at all. I'm thinking that if I have to spend that much $ on items....maybe they could find some air freshener and maybe run a mop thru the place! (But, they DO have fill a grocery bag of books for .99, so I can't complain too much. Lol.)

When I bought my polish pottery...in poland....and the dollar was worth like 6 zloty....my baking pans were $3-4 each! And gorgeous! And I still have the 9x13 + 8x8 pyrex bakers from our engagement party, lol. ....idk where on earth the other glass pyrex ended up....hmmmmm. It's only been 20+ yrs.

I didn't find what I was hoping to find at 2nd and charles, but the kids found some great books, and then I saw the kids' clearance books were 50% off....and I get an additional 20% off. So I picked up 10-12 kid books that I can make $1 or so on, selling online. Not bad.

I got another walk in yesterday. Trying to plan so many ideas at once when trying to plan the menu pretty much fried my brain. LOL And we were out of just about everything. So I walked down to the grocery store, and got the basics. Thankfully, they had all of them on sale! Cheese, $3.99 for 2 lbs! Ground beef for $2.79 (it's been close to $5 lately!) dozen eggs, .88 cents., bread $1.67..well, okay our milk wasn't on sale. But a lot of stuff was. Perhaps that makes up for the ice cream I threw in as a treat! And hopefully I walked off enough calories to make up for eating some. LOL I couldn't resist when I saw peanut butter and chocolate flavor! LOL I plan to get more (bread, eggs, etc..not ice cream..LOL) but just made a quick run with what would fit in the stroller this time. If we have the basics we have meals we can make. I am hoping to go to our local Kroger store for some deal items to stock up today. I am hoping it won't all be cleared out! I also need to divide all the ground beef, and freeze it. I've got plenty to keep me moving today, and hoping that'll help towards my weight loss goals as well!

Thanks, Jfred! And I realized this morning I had a $1 off coupon for the ice cream I bought in my bag! Whoops!

Went shopping today for a bigger coupon trip then I've done in quite awhile. They were out of a lot though. But I was able to get 6 tubes of toothpaste with each about .50 cents overage! And I got 4 L'Oreal shampoo/conditioner for just under $1 each. If we had RP q's I could have gotten them free with the $2 off. But I'll take what I can get. They missed one of my $1 off q's too. Also I had starred for the $1/2 rebate for Lance crackers on Checkout 51, but when I tried to redeem it said it had reached it's claim limit! Ughh! And I tried to redeem for the pretzels (had a $1/2, and sounds like people who get the RP had $1/1! Wish we got RP again!) but it didn't accept my rebate, saying they couldn't see it. For some reason only the top portion of the first section of my receipt is showing. So I had to e-mail them twice, and not holding my breath.

I tried to submit for the same two, and cereal on SavingStar, but it wouldn't work on my phone. My camera is broken, so I used my phone for pictures of my receipt, and e-mail them to myself. But the e-mail hasn't shown, and I tried a few times. I also can't figure out how to get the $1 rebate for Ritz on Ibotta as it only shows it in the bonuses. And I can't redeem it. So I e-mailed them too. So only rebate I've gotten today is .25 off any from Ibotta. Grrr..I'm trying to install the SavingStar app, and hoping that will help it work better on my phone.

However, I did get some good deals. 10 bags of pretzels $1.99 when they are usually around $2.50 at the cheapest. And add on $1/2 q's, $1.49 a bag. More if I can get the rebates. Gerber juice was only $1.29 so I got a few bottles, 6 free things of Crest toothpaste (with about .50 cents overage on each one) and a few other things. It did cost me about $2 extra though..as I had my son help me with the promise of a snocone! LOL

Grrr lol. What a day. My mom took oldest at nap time so i actually laid down and slept like i havent slept in days weeks..years lol. A good nap. Dd2 came in and i got you tube cartoons on for her and went back to bed while she snuggled in. Then ds woke.
It was glorious since my lower back has been keeping me up since sat and then this am i woke with stiff neck and no lower back pain bah.
Ill be 31 ppl red flags are going off like red fire crackers. Lol

We visited my mom after nap and had dinner then her dog seizured so she ran him to doctor my dad came home but didnt wanna go even for moral support so i left him to watch girls an i took ds and met her up there. Dog is starting second seizure med bx this is his third in 3 weeks. (He is epileptic).
Soooooo that's stressful on my mom

Kids and i were at park this am for community room at park. Saw all our friends played chatted snacked. I made bologna cheese sammies for lunch with cherries or apple slices for side.

Sorry about mom's dog, Katie. I hope the meds help. We had an epileptic dog, too. The seizures are so hard on your emotions. Glad you had a WONDERFUL nap! And woke w your back feeling better!! Yah on both!!

Sorry for the frustrations, damianmom. Hope your shopping went well...other than those things! And now you have all the foodz! Party at your house!!!!

Moms seem to be NOT BUYING homeschool books this week. Grrrr. I'm listing away, too. They may be starting back this week and busy....I know schools around us started yesterday and tomorrow! Eek. It's barely august! But then, we start on monday. Eek. I'm not ready!! Lol.

I didn't want to make dinner tonight. But alao didn't want takeout. So I made breakfast....sausage patties, eggs, and hashbrowns w onions. So yum. No leftovers for dh's lunch tomorrow, though. Ugh. Poor guy!
