Ok this is a little late, I have been waiting for the walgreens I usually go to to get the Expo dry erase markers but they are always out so before the sale ended i asked the cashier what can I do she said I could get a raincheck for the markers and then when they came in I could get them for the sale price, I didn't know walgreens gave rainchecks so I said ok and got the raincheck, since 8/21 I have been waiting for them to come in and then I told the same cashier 2 weeks later that I saw the markers at another store then she finally told me that I could use the raincheck at another store (wouldn't that have been nice to tell me that when you gave me the raincheck) (I thought that but didn't say that) so I got my FREE markers today at a different walgreens.

Normally these markers are $9.99 each pack but today I paid $.0 NOTHING for them WOOO HOOOO

So you are still able to use the q from the august book even though the new one has come out?

yes because I had a rain check they honored the august coupon book.

I have a rain check for these as well, the manager just wrote it for the $0.99 it would have been after the q in the event they didn't get them in before the end of the month...still waiting for them to come in, hopefully soon.

Congratz! mine never did get them in, and I was told I would not be able to use the august q book if they came in after the end of the book. Super bummed.

I asked my local manager about these markers since I have a raincheck too and she said that they were a back-to-school only item and they most likely won't be getting any more in.

I had a raincheck that I used in another store and since they only had 2 they rewrote my rain check for $.99 because they most likely would not get any more in before the IVC coupon expired. I was so happy with them.

So glad I found out that I could use them at another store cause I go by 6 or 7 walgreens each week for my job. and got 4 packs.

Same here. This week I got 4 packages ea. for .99 when I gave my IP the manager said she can not accept it. She dare to say that she was already giving me one offer and can not accept the Q because it was another offer making two offer of the same product. Excuse me can u repeat that again... You know what I wasn't going to put a fight I took one pk. because I needed a FI and for 99 cents it was a great deal. Did not take the rest because they were the neon ones and those markers are too light.

I had no problem with either the IP or the august book I think because the cashier that gave me the raincheck also stapled the coupon from the august walgreens book.
