I wasn't sure where to post this question so I hope here is okay. I ordered the Fekkai trial kit from Walgreens.com. It seemed like a good deal because it came with samples and trial sizes as well as a $10 off MQ for any Fekkai product. I love these products but can never seem to find a good deal on them so the $10 off Q was enticing enough to order this.

I got the kit yesterday and opened it to find the $10 off Q was already expired! It had an expiration of 12/31/13. I was disappointed because they advertise this Q on the front of the box AND as part of the description of the product online.

I emailed Walgreens.com but haven't heard back. I was curious if anyone has heard of anyone else receiving an expired Q before in a similar situation and how they handled it. Thanks, in advance, for any advice.

That would be disappointing. I've come across expired coupons on products in store; however, I've never ordered from wags online, so I can't help you there. Hopefully someone else can share their experience or offer advice on how best to handle this situation.

Also, just to be clear, did the coupon expire 12/31/12 or does it expire 12/31/13?

I'm a bit confused...you said the Q expired 12/31/13. Unless I've slept a LOT, that hasn't happened yet.

I guess I'm the one who didn't get enough sleep, lol! The coupon expiration is 12/31/12

Sorry, maybe I was typing out wishful thinking. Unfortunately, the coupon is definitely expired.

I freaking hate when this happens! When I first had my son, I bought a Diaper Genie boasting about coupon savings inside, and all of the coupons were LONG expired. GL, I hope they can do something for you =( "false advertising!" lol

Update: What a PITA! I called Walgreens.com CS. They told me to call Fekkai since it was a MQ. I called Fekkai and they said this has to be a Walgreens promotion because they don't issue coupons directly.

I called Walgreens.com CS back, again, had to explain the long story over and what Fekkai told me. At this point, they issued a request to (not sure who but it was from the CS rep on my behalf) either issue me a new coupon and mail it or send me a new kit. I haven't heard a follow answer to this request yet so we'll see.

Argh, sorry they both gave you the run-around. Hope it all gets resolved.

I've had this happen to me with other products. I think once was with reynolds parchment paper. The coupon was expired 3 months ago! Another time was with Vocal point - they sent out expired Crest coupons!

I've always thought about emailing the company about it, but never followed through with it. I hope you have good results - makes me want to try the next time it happens to me.
