An IVC - instant value coupon - can be found in the monthly coupon flyer that is often displayed next to the weekly ads and also in the weekly ads themselves. They can also be found in Walgreens monthly diabetic magazines that are displayed near the pharmacy. You may need to request them with the pharmacist if they are not found on display.

The IVC will take off the indicated amount multiplied by the number of same products that you're buying. There might be a limit as to how many items can be discounted. For example, Almay One Coat mascara is supposedly ringing up B1G1 free. There's an IVC $4 in the November flyer coupon book. If you buy 2, the register will take off $8. The Almay IVC has no limit.

Sometimes the register will beep with the use of IVC. Make sure you're buying the correct item for the coupon. Cashiers will insist that the IVC is only valid for the products pictured on the coupon. I normally go by the wording. If the coupon says "any," then the cashier should manually key in the coupon value.

This IVC is in the November Monthly Book in the front of the store with the weekly ads. It has a Christmas Ornament on the front of it.

Has this worked for anyone buying the Pure Blends? I tried it today and it did not work for the Pure Blends.

What did you buy from the Pure Blends line? The Pure Blends should be ringing up BIGI 50% off.... then with the mascara you should receive 1 $5RR. The Pure Blends foundation is on sale for 9.99 with a 10RR (this is a monthly deal)... the BIGI is a weekly sale. Do to some glitch I believe only the mascara is ringing up free with the $5RR being produced.

I got several foundations and masacara's and tried later for a foundation and eye shadow... the eye shadow rang up 1/2 off not free - a bummer but still a good deal! I'm curious how well makeup sells in garage sales, anyone know?

Got RR for pure blends 1 foundation at 9.99 and mascara 6.99, and only 1 IVC worked when I bought 2 one coat mascaras, but it did get one free. Hmmm, maybe one of the mascaras wasn't one coat.

Maybe only 1 IVC worked because you were already getting one for free, so there was no other mascara to take $4off of. KWIM?

I bought the pure blend mascara and the IVC would not work for it.

I purchased a Pure Blend foundation and a mascara (pure blend only), got 10RR and 5RR. Then I purchased 2 one coat mascaras and used the IVC and got $8 off so free mascara. Works for me. Just have to remember the pure blend is NOT the one for the IVC.

I think your total will be 9.99 - the cost of the foundation. I don't think the IVC gives 'overage'... it will only be counted towards the One Coat mascara. Still a great deal!
