I never tried doing price matching @ wal-mart..kinda scared, but I think i otta try it.

Hello sorry to hear about your Wal-Mart in Texas I have been an employee and shopper of Wal-Mart for many years.
I have never had to take a ad in unless it was for a drug store. What I do for me is make comping (ad matching) list I check all the other local store ads online I make a list according to store and what they have on sale. Then at my Wal-Mart all of the cashiers have the ad and know what is on sale for the most part, if they don't they make take a second to look it up. With coupons and comping I get a whole cart of food and toiletries for about $100.00 to $120. I hope you have better luck in the future.

So they do not honor Food Lion or Bi Lo's BOGO???These stores basically give you half price for one item...you don't have to buy 2 items...unlike CVS where you have buy both items to get sale.

Beware though....generally I don't ever have a problem with price matching, but I actually had to get a little upset at one local walmart. I had the ad and everything, and the cashier was kinda mean. I had 10 of the same item, and so she made me wait 10 minutes in line, then came back and said that she called meijer (which is the store i was matching) and said that they were out of stock, so WM would not match the price.
I went ballistic! After she had kept me waiting for 10 minutes!!! So I had just got my new phone at the time, and it has the internet on it. So I demanded a manager, and while she was on her way, I pulled up the WM website, found their price match policy and had her read it to me!! She went ahead and pushed it through, but after 30 minutes!!!! For 10 items it simply wasn't worth the hassle!!
