I learned this same valuable lesson today. I had 11 Q's and didn't catch it until after I paid and the total seemed high. The cashier held 2/$1.00 Q's she had placed on top of her register. I told her they didn't ring up and then she hands them to me and tells me to go to CS and tell them they didn't scan. I did get the $2 back but IMHO I think she was holding them for herself. I had 4 like (for the Vaseline) which made them free and I think she realized that. Why else would she have not put them into her drawer and just left the out to the side? I could be wrong but...just seemed fishy to me.

This actually happened to me today too. I had purchased (4) Gas X with the $3/2 coupons, so $6 worth of coupons. It wasn't until I got home that I noticed they didn't come off although I know I saw the cashier scan them. Thankfully I had to go back into town anyway to pick up my kiddos later so I went back to Walmart and told them what happened. They nicely went and searched that particular drawer, found my Q's and refunded me my $. Six dollars is a lot of cash. I was happy they fixed it.

Normally I keep an eagle eye out on the transaction but today was wiped out and not paying enough attention.

Glad they made it right but I don't know how well it would have gone over had I waited another day.

I have had this happen to me more than once in the last three weeks at Walmart and at different walmarts. Not sure why this is happening.

This happens to me EVERY TIME I shop at walmart. I've resorted to counting my coupon amount before checking out and then checking the receipt. Once I catch it, I have to wait in line at customer service, explain what happened, have the CSM go to the cashier, count the coupons, and then they give me cash back. It sure is a hassle.

This started happening to me also recently not before most of my coupons have the new barcode and most are ip's they would scan not not come off and the items were more then the coupons so it should have took it off with no problems and she would scan it again and the same thing nothing. I do not know. What is going on.
