Question Marks Question about stacking coupons at Walmart?

Hi everyone. I am new to couponing and was at Walmart tonight and I had purchased 2 Pupperoni treats for my little dog. Well, I had two $1 off each man qs and one $3 off two q. I thought I could stack these and make it a better deal but they said I couldn't. Am I wrong? Or are they wrong? If you could tell me about how to stack coupons, I would appreciate it. I thought stacking was what I was doing, but now I am not sure.

Sincerely,
Mary

You can only use one manu q per item purchased...in this case:

~1 pupperoni minus $1/1q
~1 pupperoni minus $1/1 q

OR

~2 pupperonis minus $3/2q(which is your better deal)

does that help?

and welcome!!!

Yes, that is what they said at Walmart. I did use the $3 off two because it was a better deal. So, when stacking it is like at Target, I can use a Target q and a man q on one item, but not two man q on one item, right? Is that the only way I can stack coupons? I appreciate your help.

to WUC!

When you hear someone stacking coupons, it is (or should be) in reference to using a store coupon and a mfr. coupon. Most stores allow you to use their own store coupon with a mfr. coupon but you can't use two mfr. coupons on the same item. I hope that helps.
