almost forgot to post this but in the travel/trial size there are 1 load packs of tide for $1. I am going to try to use the $1/1 that was in the p&g on them this weekend. It doesn't say anything on them about excluding trial size. If anyone tries before the weekend please let me know.

Yeah i tried it on one at walmart once and they said nope. I get all mine at target. and use dh's discount so i get a 10 cent credit on each towards something else. works when you are buying a bunch of them!

Walmart's registers are set up to catch deals like this. Sorry! It is more than likely a no go

The first time I tried this at my Walmart I was literally accused of stealing (um, why would I put the stupid $1 item on the conveyor belt and let you ring it up if I was trying to steal it). The cashier refused to let me use the coupon. I was furious when I left so I sent a rather nasty e-mail to corporate. A couple days later I spoke to a lovely AM on the phone who assured me that I was not stealing and was allowed to use that Q - they just reduce the price to 97 cents (that was the shelf cost). Now, I always say AM ____ said I can do this - let's call her up her and have not had a problem since but YMMV. Target is great and just changes the value of the Q.

I never see these at my Wally world. I have noticed that they have changed there register programs. My coupon use there seems to be going a lot easier.

If the registers won't take it, take it to customer service they'll take it! I've actually had the manager called up front for this deal. It says on ANY and the travel size are ANY! They will do it! It's just a matter of how bad you want it! I do this deal ALL THE TIME!

Target has never adjusted a coupon down for me. In fact when we lived in Galveston they said and handed me a copy from corp. saying they couldn't do it anymore...

meijer also has these travel size, price is .97, i got 10 of them last night with .03 overage on each coupon. cashier had to push magic buttons for it to work because it said item not found but she knew that was not true coz she was holding one of them in her hand.....free tide and a small amount of overage.
