Default NEVER AGAIN, I am done with walgreens

I dont know why i even went back. i dont know why i bothered. turns out the one manager who was harrassing me last year has continued to call other stores CLAIMING i buy things to get the RR and then return them. I now have to pay a $303 disorderly conduct ticket for cussing out a manager who accused me of STEALING per the phone call she got from the harrassing manager. she was sooo freaking snotty with me, called me a thief, said a bunch of freaking SLANDEROUS things. and yeah, i just lost it and cussed her out LOUDLY. how DARE she, how dare ANYONE!! I have never even made a RETURN at walgreens . i did an even exchange ONCE like 2 years ago with a faulty heating tower. that is IT. no one would ever find me on a walgreens video ANYWHERE returning ANYTHING EVER.

so yeah, i am really freaking done. i am selling my contour coupons in the FSOT forum. if anyone is interested i can mail them out tomorrow. i will NOT step foot in wags again.


************UPDATE************

ok so yesterday afternoon, even though I had asked for someone higher up to call me back when i called corporate, I got a call from the head store manager of this store. He was nice though. so i consented to discussing the situation with him first . He said he had only read the slanderous (my opinion, not his YET at this point) email the assistant manager had sent out . He was not aware, but was after i told him, that she sent that email to EVERYONE in this district. She had CCed him without letting him see who else she sent it to. He was actually very very upset about that, very angry, he said it was 110% against company policy because that is HARRASSMENT of a customer. no matter if she called the cops on me or not, she is not allowed to do that. NO ONE IS.

I told him what all happened, pretty much the exact same as i said above. just he wanted details of my thoghts, impressions etc from the minute i walked in the door of his store. there is some stuff i did not explain like her refusal to step 5 feet to the doors of the store to look at my car parked outside the door to see my friend sitting there in PAIN. my friend who was with me had a pinched nerve and walking makes it worse. she wanted me to get her meter for her and the assistant manager REFUSED to even look, and was very mean about saying my friend had to physically come in the store and do the transaction herself. etc. this was before it really went to heck in a handbasket. so i gave him a detailed account of every second i was in the store. how she followed me around too.

he said that he cannot discuss disciplinary actions with me, that is against policy. but that i could rest assured there would be action taken. he said she was going to be working with him tomorrow, which is now today, and that he did need her side. but it sounded like she very much ommitted details in her email to folks and to him. well heck yeah she did.

here is the part that is on me though.He asked me what else could walgreens do for me. Now i know many of you are on the edge of your seat thinking i would ask for a gift card or compensation for the ticket...................

I told him "well sir, had i not cussed your employee out calling her one of the worst names a woman can call another woman, i would be asking for you to pay my ticket or give me a gift card. But i feel i did break the law, and that i earned my ticket. since my actions were THAT out of control i feel that negates walgreens owing me anything in compensation. "

there was dead silence. i think i shocked him. but that is how i feel . It does not matter what she said, how she said it, what she did, including calling me a female dog once she was OFF CAMERA and outside the store. what matters to me is how I ACTED. what i did was wrong folks. 110% wrong. there is NO justification at all.

with that in mind. i also asked him this "all i want is an opportunity to apologise to your assistant manager. i know i cannot take back what i said or what i did. but i would like her to know that as a woman i acknowledge that what i said was wrong no matter the circumstances. that she did NOTHING to warrant my behaviour. and i hope she will listen to me say that and consider accepting my apology, though i dont expect her to do so"

again shocked silence. he said that they work together tomorrow, now today, and that around 2pm he can have her call me on the office speaker phone with him in attendance so that no false claims can further be made. IF she is willing that is.

you see it really bothers me that i cussed her out. i was the worst couponer in the world at that moment. i embarrassed mysellf and the couponing community with my actions. no matter how mad i was i should have kept my cool. she will have to face her own disciplinary action with what she did and said. but that is not MY responsability. my responsability is in my own actions. and i need to be held accountable and humble myself before her. i only hope she accepts my apology. it has been keeping me up miserable that i lost my temper that way. i feel HORRIBLE for what i said. and how i must have made her feel.

I shop for several households for CVS, not just my own.

OMG! What city was this in? I would love to tell my mgr about this and get them in trouble.. if he could do anything about it, he would.. He hates it when ANY employee of wags treats customers like that.. I am SOO sorry!

If the mgr was talking to you like that then why didn't they do something about her as well?? That sucks!!!

it was the downtown kenosha wisconsin location.

they said that the language I USED was disorderly etc etc. i didnt push thepoint cause she did cuss me out too. and i should have but i just am so done so very done. i dont steal, i just want to SHOP. and i am so tired of this one manager from here who calls and says hateful things about me, LIES. i have NEVER returned anything at walgreens. EVER

she is LUCKY i am stable on my medication for my bi-polar. cause in the past i would have freaking jumped her! LOL i had NO control over my temper. i feel so embarrassed for losing it though. i really do. i just PROVED to her and any manager SHE calls that i am everything i am accused of.

I would really really look into a slander case. I understand your bi polar disorder because my husband is and he loses his temper very easily BUT them saying slanderous things is what brought this on and you can sue for slander. People dont realize this but it is possible. I know a lawyer cost is probably out of the picture but you can always throw it in someones face when they are slandering you that you will be contacting a lawyer.

I wonder how they'd like to be called liars and thieves and the other nasty things they called you?! If they had any brains they'd realize that's why you got so angry.

Excellent shopping skills do not equal thievery!!

i have to go to at least ONE walgreens one more time. i have 150 approx in RR i need to unload. SIGH of long suffering. i will go to the most positive friendly one in these part, unload the RRs and be DONE. i am upset, angry, embarrassed but i wont let these just go to waste
