Help Walmart no receipt return policy

So I just had a baby shower, and like many other moms, I received about a zillion more little outfits than I actually need. I wanted to return some of the Walmart brand things since I read they are about the only store that will take returns without a receipt, and I still need to get a few essentials that I don't have yet.

The policy on no receipt return at Walmart reads like this:
Answer Detail

Does anyone know if this means 3 returned items in 45 days or 3 transactions? I have about 8 things to return...

Thanks for your help!

Target, WM, Kohls and JcPennys are some stores that you don't need a reciept to return items. Kohls will also take items even if they don't have that specific item. For Ex. Kohls will take just about anything Carters!

Target you are limited to x amount of dollars per year. It doesn't matter the amount of items. I believe the limit it to $70.

Walmart - I returned stuff from my baby shower a few years ago no problem. She just said after $50 they have to have a manager authorize.

I'd say Kohl's has the best return policy of them all. No reciept, no questions, they just happily give you a credit.

True. If I am ever close to hitting the $70 I take my hubby in there and use his ID too.

"Walmart's No Receipt policy applies to items returned in a store only. When you return an item without a receipt, you have the option of receiving a cash refund (for purchases under $25), a Gift Card for the amount of the purchase (for purchases over $25) or making an even exchange for the product. We also follow any manufacturer's warranties.

You can make up to three No Receipt returns within a 45 day period."

To be honest, I've never tried to return a large number of items. Based upon the highlighted language of the Walmart return policy, I feel it would be applied as 3 items, not 3 return transactions.

You are allowed 3 transactions without a receipt. At my store you are given a WM gift card regardless of the amount
