My sisters (refill) pills went from 16.00 for 3 montns to 333.00 for 3 months.

She may want to try Target or a grocery store's pharmacy to see if they have a lower price. Also, Walgreens has a similar program, but you have to pay a fee to use it.

Is she by any chance getting doxycycline? That drug and many others are in short supply. It is not uncommon now for drugs to go on allocation or short supply and the price shoots through the roof. Maybe should could contact her doctor and find out if there is a cheaper alternative.

My DH takes that. They had to switch his capsules to tablets. They went from $4 to $10 with the change at the local pharmacy.

I'm assuming/hoping the $10 is your co-pay because that particular drug increased in price by over 100x the original price overnight!

That I'm not sure because we never gave them insurance for it because it was $4 regardless. I'll have to ask next time and find out for sure.
