I am a little confused as to how o should go about this. Should I go to customer service or would a cashier be able to do it?

A cashier can help you. I would make sure to have the ad of the other store with you just in case you have problems. Just make sure you have the exact item that is in the ad and tell the cashier that you are price matching and they will do it right there at the register. HTH!
![]() I can't believe I used to pay full price!!

No ad is required at Walmart but it is always recommended.
I usually just place my ad on top of the items I am price-matching and put those down first. Then I kindly tell the cashier that I am price-matching this product to store x for $$ sale price. Last, I hand over the coupons. hth |

My Walmart rules are crazy if you price match with out a ad you can't use a coupon but if you have an ad you can isn't that just crazy...

I price match prob half my receipt. I guess in lucky I have never had to have an ad. (Of they asked for it I would politely tell them I do not have to have it according to their policy, if they need to check it they are supposed to have the ad). My advice would be to group your price match items together. I always give mine to them first so I can stand by the register and tell them price/store for each item and watch to make sure. They will most likely scan and manually adjust each item. Many time I have caught a mistake where they scanned and didn't adjust. Then I just tell them they are free to scan the rest. That way they don't have to question you about a price match or not. My Walmart is great, I have had them say to me oh this is cheaper at publix, let me price match it for you
![]() And no I'm not a creep about the ad. I have a free app on my phone called weekly ads that has the ad scans or mobile ad for all stores In about a 50 mile radius. I always have it if something was to happen and they asked. I will say that I would prove my price only to a manager after reading from their policy that I don't have to have it. It says so in every weekly flier too. If I have to follow the policy on all the coupon stuff, that's included too. |
