I remember people posting on here how they price matched incorrect games with that Big Lots ad. They were doing the Cars 2 Hasbro games which were new, but Big Lots was marking down the Toy Story stuff, which Walmart had already marked down too. They weren't quite $5 yet, but still...

I got blasted when I pointed it out and people saying that they price matched correctly ..

I go through "you know what", when I shop at WM with coupons and PM's. I need to go tomorrow and try to PM purex and milk.

It's sad that there are so many people out there giving couponers a bad name. There is no sense in stealing.

I think that it may of just been a way of get money and that way was through coupons. As others have said that hurts those of us who coupon legitimately.

I worry that Wal-mart and other stores may stop taking IPs all together, which leaves us with less savings.

I HOPE SO monkeystyle - Someone needs to SHOW people that they CANNOT get away with theft and other crimes.
What are they doing out on the streets with that criminal record anyway?? They SHOULD be IN JAIL NOW!!!!

IF some WMs continue with their lax policies and allow employees to steal and non employee thieves to get away with stuff like this,

they have only themselves to blame because many of us experience rude treatment @ most WMs with cashiers/CSMs acting like the money we save is coming out of their pockets.

I will be surprise if there are no changes at all to WMs current overage/cash back policy; while a few branches are allow themselves to be robbed, most of their stores are pushing away honest customers using legit coupons.

It is truly sad as others have posted and it is a good thing they were caught before they created further damage.

I am a honest person as well as a honest couponer. I grew up in a time when you were taught your word is your bond.

Im sure they could really care less if they're dishonest enough to do such a thing

OMG... I'm sorry all that theft occurred, but glad they caught some people and are prosecuting them hard core.

i hope i dont offend anyone with the way i chose my words here on this topic. if i do ill apologize now. it is just my opinion.
first of all, these people that did this are just people who worked at WM. they saw a "opening to steal" and took it. as the popularity of couponing has grew with all the media attention that it gets thru the internet,television and even newspapers on a daily basis.
it truely surprises me that we do not hear of this more frequently.it has truely amazed me threw the years how much coupons has become a everyday household word. THINK ABOUT IT? ON T.V., WEBSITES EVERYWHERE, IN OUR SALES ADS, IN NEWSPAPERS.the attention that one little piece of paper that you cut to save a litle bit on your grocerys, has blossomed into complete maddness for the media.it wasnt like this when i went to the store w/my mom/granny years ago. i miss those days.

second,that the technology is there for folks to even do something like this is crazey to me .im almost 50 years old.and learned the computer myself. i have no desire to sit here on my laptop and try and figure out some of these type of things. but i think thats whats wrong w/the world now days too much of all this stuff. our children have grown up with all this stuff,and it is so crazey for them to even sit there and learn how to copy coupons to me.we didnt have all this stuff growing up. and 'most' of us turned out just fine. our world has so much now days.do we really need it all?

finally, these people will be punished by the court system im sure . as they should be. but one thing i know for sure is that they have to face their MAKER one day,and be judged as we all do.
its not my place to judge them.
we all can do all part as couponers. remember you are 1 couponer of millions but you still count!!!i dont think personally it will affect us. WM has a good policy already i think.

i shop my local WM. i rarely have a problem there. i always have a seperate list w/PM along w/salesads in my binder,along with all my q's in envelope. for me i want my checkout to be easy. so if im prepared, then its easy on the cashier.
