Aggravation !!!
Hello guys ! Haven't posted in a while but I wanted to post a VERY frustrating moment last night at Wegman's. I went in to pick up a few things. I made a killing actually . I purchased 12 Haagan Daz Chocolate &Almond covered single ice cream bars (snack size) they are .99 each. Febreze to go , and 16 bags of Potatoe Chips (8/2.00) . My total OOP was .76 Cents .
Soo I send my daughter in to get more potatoe chips (coupons expire 8/2) , More Febreze (coupon expired 7/31) Wriggleys gum B1G1, and Fuze drinks B1G1 . The cashier tells my daughter she cannot use the coupons ..because the bags are 1/2onz smaller that the coupon states. The cashier then goes on to circle the size portion in the coupons , then scribbles VOID on the coupons and gives them back to her. She also told her the coupon for Febreze expired 7/31 and should have been used by 5:00, so she tossed it out. My daughter came out ****ed off, she is 20 but looks 15 and explained how the young lady was very rude. I called the manager and let him have it regarding this young lady. Some of those coupons were ones that I had purchased. He apologized and was stunned by this behavior and stated he will give me a 5.00 gift card for my trouble. Has anyone ever encountered a Anti Coupon nut like this ?/

I'm so sorry that happened. I've dealt with nasty anti-coupon cashiers before, but not at Wegmans. They're usually pretty good about it.
