I had a box of brownie mix here (the size that makes an 8x8 or 9x9 pan) and I hadn't made any type of treat for DH in several months. I just figured if we didn't have things in the house then we wouldn't be tempted to eat something that would throw us off track. But that brownie mix was calling my name last night to make it, and wow did I ever find a fabulous trick to make it more friendly to a diet!

I totally went off on my own with what to add to the mix, and simply put in 2 of the individual cups of berry flavored applesauce, and it called for 2 eggs - I used egg beaters. Mixed it up and put it in the pan and baked it at 350 for 30 mins not having a clue how it would turn out. OMG!!! It's fantastic!!! It's not really brownie like, more of a dense cake. A cross between a brownie and pound cake maybe? Simply scrumptious chocolate raspberry taste.

I figured out the points using the etools recipe builder on the WW site, and each brownie is only 2 WW pts! That's the equivalent of 100 cals and not bad at all for a decadent sweet treat

sounds great.....wonder if you only used one cup if it would chewy......
