Not sure yet but I joined a thread here on monthly goals and one of my biggest goals was to meal plan for the month...the other.....JULY will be free of ANY eating out. That will be a big challenge for us but I know we can do it. We need to eat from our stockpile this month and use items from our freezer.

Ok.....I got it...meal today:

Grilled Pork Chops
Ore-Ida Grillers
Green Beans

One meal down....the rest of the month to plan out.

I'm going to try my hand at making salmon cakes tonight from a recipe I found by Ina Garten. Hopefully it is eatable, any one have any tips or suggestions?

I'll also be making broccoli and either rice or potato. Which would go better with Salmon?

Thanks for the help!

The only suggestion I have with the salmon cakes is to not move them around too much. Put the patty in the pan and let it brown on one side before turning.
As far as what goes with the salmon.....I would chose the broccoli and DH would chose the potato...lol. Just whatever your family prefers.
